    I would like to suggest that all training videos use psi and bar and F and C, because in America we do not use the metric system

      We're putting a bigger emphasis on this. More of our content will feature both options in the future.

    What keeps the refrigerant from moving back to the evaporator? Check valve?

    • @DanfossClimate
      @DanfossClimate  Год назад

      Yes, the compressor will have a couple of built-in valves in the cylinder head, where one is for the discharge (outlet) of the compressor. The discharge valve will work as a check valve.

    Without charging the gas, the pressure in the suction increases and the cooling decreases, why is this problem happening?

      Hi Devi, Thank you for your comment. There are a few things to check, if you have a high suction pressure:
      Check the compressor is pumping - close suction service valve and suction gauge should decrease in pressure (If scroll compressor do not run in vacuum).
      Check system is not overcharged.
      Check expansion valve function.
      Check expansion valve bulb is secure on suction pipe leaving the evaporator.
      Check if the compressor is connected to the correct pipes.
      Hope this was helpful :-)
