You can absolutely use your GPS to setup coordinates. Doing this eliminates the need to use your pace to calculate distance from one point to the next. Thanks for watching!
It seems that if you're using reflective tape to mark checkpoints (which is a very good idea), then setting up at night and testing your skills would give more accurate feedback to your plan.
Great upload, thanks.
Thanks for watching and commenting! We appreciate it!
Great vid, using it to set up a course for kids to find Easter baskets.
Outstanding!
Happy Easter!
Great video! Is there a way to set up GPS coordinates as well?

Where do you get local maps
We have purchased maps at our local REI and at USGS map store.
You can find them online at

A cat-eye course sounds really fun! Do you tend to set yours up in the daytime, or once it's dark?
Thanks for the question. We set up the course during the day and then let participants navigate it at night.
Lot's of fun!

You said to count your pace but in your demo you counted steps.
