    Attic Raiders Retro Reviews takes a look at the pirate-themed vintage board game Rattle Me Bones released by MB Games in 1990. It's a perfect game for your Halloween party, or just anyone looking for some light-hearted creepy fun.
    In this pulse pounding game of skill and fine motor control, players must try to loot as much booty as they can from the pirate's skeleton without setting his limbs flailing and bones rattling. Of corpse, if you're slow and careful, I wreck-on you should be able to do it without making old Boney p-irrate!

    Reminds me of Operation. Which we didn't have or get to play but as a child looked like the coolest game ever.

    I much prefer the older one than the new one. The new one isn't nearly as frightening when it shakes and I don't know about anyone else but the mechanism broke really easily on mine. As in the latch broke so he wouldn't stay down.

      Agreed. My wife is terrified of the new one! I've found with a lot of modern "updates" of older games that they use new, less complex, cheaper, mechanisms that just don't work as well or are as durable.

    All of the components of this game would look great with a really nice rustic paint scheme making the bones and Items ect, look old and worn.

    • @AtticRaidersRetroReviews
      @AtticRaidersRetroReviews  2 года назад +1

      Yeah it could look pretty cool with a nice paint job. And maybe some latexed cloth clothing scraps hanging from the bones.

      @@AtticRaidersRetroReviews Hard to find a good complete copy of this game nowadays, thinking I will need to buy it in parts, though I have done this will many vintage board games and is a good way of keeping costs down sometimes. If I manage to get a copy I will definitely paint all the components.

      Yes I mention that one in the video. I've seen it around at carboot sales, but I've never played it.
