To Make the rails cooperate, you need to do the fuel line first. After placing the powered rail add two more regular rails to connect the two straight rail lines. Then you can place the last rails on the input line and remove the extra two regular rails on the fuel line to replace them with blocks. Hope this helps and enjoy buliding!
Love how people do farms on pc then i spend an hour trying to build it just for it not to work. Also spending the time gathering resources for it. Litterlay my favorite thing
Great video! For those who are having trouble with bedrock version, extend your blocks further to place extra rails after the powered rails. This helps them to not connect together. Also mine a small tunnel under the coal furnaces and clear out any items in the hoppers. Mine wasn’t working till I cleaned out all the hoppers. Hope that helped, the farm does work and only took 20 min!
for the rails if you can’t get them to connect, like he said try changing your orientation of the build, instead of extending in the Z direction. build your furnace line in the X direction
Had some rail issues due to me building in the wrong orientation but figured out a solution. On the 2 blocks next to where the powered rails should be for the fuel closest to the chests place normal rails before placing the powered ones. They should be tilted up towards the normal rails . Break the normal rails and replace with normal blocks. Stops powered rails connecting the wrong way. The rails will stay tilted but it still works perfectly. 3:23 for reference
Just built this a few minutes ago and didn't run into any issues. Now to figure out how to automatically power all the furnaces with dripstone lava buckets for infinite fuel.
I've found out, for the rails, the super smelter needs to be facing a certain direction. I can't remember which way, but my powered rails kept connecting the wrong way. One I tore down the smelter and made it the other way, the rails worked just fine.
Early game definitely but I feel like once you get an iron and a gold farm the blast furnaces would become pretty useless unless you need a lot of copper
@@MrSnipes123I'm end game now and already have a gold farm, thank you for reminding me there's literally so many iron farms I was about to build this with all my remaining iron just to go find more to smelt it fast omg
If you follow the tutorial as it says works Yoo you can even expand and double the efficiency of this smelter. Its amazing but only costs. a bit of iron
I know this was a long time ago, but in the future, place rails connected ahead of the rails lines you have already placed so that they don’t connect, then delete the access rails. The more parallel rails you have, just add one extra rail per line, and delete it later. Use normal extra rails, not powered. It should look like a stair pattern. The reason why this happens is depending on what direction your farm is placed (North, South, East, West) rails automatically connect in specific ways depending on the direction. I believe they are paired, so north with south and east with west. Hope this helps someone in the future.
INSTEAD OF SEPERATING THE INSIDE RAILS LOOP THEM 3-4 BLOCKS OFF THE FARM THEN PLACE THE OUTSIDE RAILS, THEN DELETE THE LOOP FOLLOWING THE ORIGINAL DESIGN. IF THE RAILS ARE FULLY LOOPED THEY WILL NOT SWITCH DIRECTION.
Will it work with different fuels and items at the same time? What I mean is can you just throw a bunch of smeltable items in and flick the level after? I’m subbed and love your videos!
I’m so confused cus stuff like cobblestone and clay will not smelt and instead just go into the bottom hoppers, does anyone know why this is happening?
There really isn't any benefit to make it any bigger because by the time the minecart with chess comes back around the item has pretty much already smelted so if you made it longer furnaces would sit empty with nothing to smelt
Bamboo, kelp blocks, and Blaze Rods are all renewable sources of fuel that would work well for this. Charcoal is also renewable, but you need to smelt the wood to get it, so we're back to square one on trying to find a fuel
this works, make sure your smelter is positioned so that it extends and makes your first coordinates decrease and nothing else, then make sure all your hoppers are connected.
it's not the best as he says; there is a better one that is just as fast but way more efficient by silent whisper but this one is definitely more flexible in that it's size can be adjusted.
@@user-ew8ct6fm2o bamboo generator works great couldnt get the kelp one to work even by builing in facing south, all in one chunk etc.. but just wondering is there a way to split the bamboo drops so that one goes into a chest for me to collect and make scaffolding and another chest that auto transports half of the bamboo to the super smelter?
moss farm cause it produces azalea's which can be used for fuel. Only downside is that you have to make a filtration system so you can connect it to your super smelter. Otherwise the system gets stuck cause moss can't be used for fuel. Personally I made a bamboo farm that's directly connected to the super smelter Fuel chest and made a seperate mossfarm next to it which is also connected to the super smelter fuel input, so i basically have infinite fuel sources going into it. Personally I use half blast furnaces, half normal furnaces because it gives the most efficiency for ores while also letting you smelt other things
Wouldn't that clog with items that can't be smelted in the blast furnaces.

How did you figure them out pls tell me
Tip: if you want to smelt faster, use a blast furnace(disables ability to cook food)
For some reason when I put stuff in the top minecart Hopper it goes to the bottom one
Same
You are supposed to use a chest minecart.
When I flip the switch the powered rail turns on but even with the Minecart on it it doesn't move

The only problem is that a powered rail powers the hopper below it and keeps it from sucking up items.

Arent the hopper a bottle neck? They can transport 150 items oer minute at max. So basically 25 furnaces per hopper „line“ should be the maximum
You should have 3 of these your first one with normal furnaces then one for ores blast furnaces and one for food smokers

you can but keep in mind they can only smelt certain items. food will just get trapped in blast furnaces and you'll have to get them out yourself
This is not a super smelter this is an ultimate smelter
THE ULTIMATE SMELTER
Yeah
quick question, would lava buckets work as fuel?? im working on a massive project and i just dont want to use up all my coal.
Yes. I'd build a drip stone lava farm right next to it. You can use charcoal instead of coal too at least it's renewable.
But you have to separate the empty buckets to make room for the new lava buckets
@@anitabonghit7606 Could always add an item sorter that will filter out the buckets into a separate chest near a lava farm!
Bamboo, kelp blocks, and Blaze Rods are all renewable sources of fuel that would work well for this. Charcoal is also renewable, but you need to smelt the wood to get it, so we're back to square one on trying to find a fuel
