  • Today Sam and David are back to review the KEF LS50 Meta and Wireless II. The LS50 Meta represents an incredible level of quality for someone who already has a nice amplifier. The LS50 Wireless II is what really caught our eye, as a pair of wireless speakers that truly match the level of quality of a hifi 2-channel system.
If you liked the LS50, you will love these even more. If for some reason you didn't like the LS50, these are worth a listen. We have had several customers report that the original LS50 didn't fit their preferences but the new Meta series was perfect for them.
As a bonus, we challenge you to find a $1000 integrated amp and a $1500 pair of speakers that sound better than the LS50 Wireless II!
As always, we have both of these speakers on our showroom floor to demo, no appointments needed. Feel free to call us at Stereoland in Bloomington, MN or come on down any time!

We thought it would be neat to share: Shortly after making this video, David bought a pair of LS50 Wireless II's for himself!

Is the LS50 Meta better than the R3?

I just watched a pretty good review on this exact question, if you're interested. ruclips.net/video/z-5p869-gEY/видео.html

@@svalbard01 Thanks for the reply but I think he has the original LS50's, not the metas.

@@stevexc222 From what I've seen of comparisons between the metas and the original LS50s, the same differences would apply, but just be more pronounced with the metas in comparison with the R3s.

@@svalbard01 Currently I have the R300 (predecessor to R3) and I really like them. They have better dynamics and bass than the original LS50, but the original LS50 was said to have significantly better mid-range clarity. The R3 caught up to the original LS50, so it was the best of both worlds as such. Now the metas have come out and maybe beaten the R3 in clarity. Given that I like my R300s I think my best bet may be to wait for a meta version of the R3, fingers crossed that Kef start using this technology on their other speaker ranges.

@@stevexc222 Sounds awesome. I've got the KEF Q150s. I've only ever heard the original LS50 in real life. I really enjoyed them. If I can save enough money, I want to get R series as well. Not sure if R3 or R5.
