Hibs went 1-0 up at Hampden Park before a quick reply from Celtic's Japanese star, Kyogo Furuhashi. He added a second with 10 minutes to go to make sure Celtic won their 20th league cup.
This was Ange Postecoglou's first trophy as Celtic manager. How many more can he add?

Have to disagree with you on the game. The football in the first half was not abysmal. Celtic played some lovely football, but hibs defended with 11 behind the ball meaning we struggled to find space around the box.
14:28 is great footage. The look on yours and the hibs fans face when Celtic equalised immediately is amazing.
Haha I was in such shock! Couldn't even see the other end of the pitch cos of the pyro smoke. All I heard was the Celtic fans cheering!

The ridiculousness of the time between Hibs scoring and the equaliser going in;
As exciting as most goals are, our brains almost always get to see the build up and so there is a definite sense of anticipation, but this goal was completely 'blind' and so the visual sensation was replaced by a wholly unexpected audio tsunami which, combined with the first reason, brought what what can only have been a 'shock and awe' experience.
Your face was priceless. The Hibees losing one goal whilst they were still celebrating their own, and another when they were focused on making a substitute, made this the Open Mouthed League Cup Final.

Great video. This a proper cup final atmosphere. If this was my team at Wembley the majority would be sitting down and certainly no pyro and constant singing. Football may be limited but by god it has passion. That Kyogo guy is going to go for mega bucks. What a player.

A bit of controversy , but, overall, particularly second half, Celtic were the better team.
Penalty claim for both probably valid, and, winning goal a peach.
Kyogo is so fast off the mark.

Loved this video being a celtic fan If someone had said at the start of the season we would have a manager like ange and players like kyogo and jota ect I would of never believed it but what a brilliant season we are having so far even though we are still in a massive rebuild

It'd be great to see you do a little football tour of Cyprus. It's a pretty small island so travelling is very manageable if you rent a car and they've got a really cool little football culture with some fierce political rivalries (Onomia vs APOEL) as well as some interesting stadiums dotted around in the middle of nowhere. If you get some locals to help you out and show you the culture around food/football/politics I reckon it'd be a great series of videos. Puncheon is also still playing out there for Pafos!
Scottish football may not be great on the eye at times but it means soo much to the fans.

I’m from Essex but have always followed Hibs. I’m an Arsenal fan but Hibs have always had my heart as well, I always wanted to see them win a trophy in the flesh, I went to this final, I was gutted with the result but wouldn’t have changed the day other than that. People really overlook how much more passionate football is in Scotland!

Great vid Sam, I’m a hibs fan and I was at both the semi final and final we were unlucky with hitting the post but the refs performance was appalling
HIBS DON'T HAVE THE SAME QUALITY OF PLAYERS BUT THEY PUT EVERYTHING INTO IT. NO-ONE WANTS TO LOSE A CUP FINAL BUT IF WE DID I WOULD RATHER LOSE TO HIBS THAN HEARTS OR SEVCO. GOOD LUCK FOR REST OF THE SEASON. C'MON THE HOOPS!!!!!!

Great video full of passion from the fans. I think that all the games you've covered and bringing the Scottish game to a wider audience in Scotland they should make you an Honorary Scott. In my opinion its a shame that money is not being invested in other clubs in the S P L because its always going to be Celtic or Rangers to take most of the silverware especially the league title.

Watched a lot of your videos Sam, learnt a lot about Scottish football. The fans in Scotland seem more passionate about football, even at non league level. Prefer your Scottish videos than when do go back to England and do videos.

This game should have had a much different scoreline;
- Celtic denied two stonewall penalties in the first half
- Johnston missing a few that should’ve went in
- 9 out of 10 that Rogic shot goes in
- Hibs missing a sitter
- Hibs denied a penalty
Could’ve easily been about 5 - 3 or more, well done Celtic🍀

Hi, you should go to an Ossett united game in the evostik northern prem. I play there for the academy team and it’s a really nice ground to say it’s non league and it has the highest fan turnout in the league and the atmosphere is crazy. Night games are especially buzzing.
