Great bounce back from the kid after the catcher's interference on Kelly. Leiter was throwing some gas. Langford is showing signs of greatness. I just hope we keep throwing some wins together just to mess with other teams. Jankowski showing out, like he did in last years World Series run. Catch of the Year.
No he’s not. Leiter is wild and the hitters are keying in on his fastball. Any other team in the majors will destroy him. He has no pose on the mound as you can tell his nervous. He’s destined for a bullpen role if he doesn’t develop a great changeup and learns how to control his pitches.

I haven't watched much of the Sox this season, but based on how the season has gone for them, this game right here probably sums it up best: Errors leading to runs against them, weird plays that don't go their way, the bullpen not being able to hold a team down, and then the best hope of the night getting snatched away by a great play.

I just can't see it happening. I mean we have dug ourselves into this big hole and we have to go a run. I just dont see how its possible.

Leiter needs to develop a really good changeup this offseason. The hitters are just waiting for him to throw a fastball
Leiter has the stuff just gotta work on that command and he'll be dominant
If Andrew Heany is a serviceable Starter , then Lieter should be better than that, he just need more big league experience.
@@geminimalabagornbsn6568Heaney can strike out major leaguers. Leiter can’t. He gets too rattled and nervous. He’s destined for the bullpen if he doesn’t get a great changeup as hitters are waiting for the fastball.
It’s like his fourth start. The control issues are jitters. Once he can throw the offspeed stuff for strikes to major league hitters then they won’t be able to sit on the 4-seam and it’ll be curtains for hitters. It’s the reason I’ve been wanting him called up and to stay up…so he can finally get used to pitching to big-leaguers. Rangers front office were delusional for too long thinking they still had a shot at the playoffs so they went w/ the vet starters for longer than they should have instead of bringing the young guys up to get some run. Better late than never. I’m excited to see Jack end the year w/ the club.

Luckily we won, but I'm still not willing to ignore that Robert's backfoot wasn't even fully in the batter's box when he started his swing. That should not have been a Catcher's interference call.
