- Did someone say three at the back was dead in FM? Well, not with this FM24 tactic.
GYR brings you his latest creation - Ironman!
Using three centrebacks along with two defensive midfielders this tactic has everything to remain solid at the back whilst blasting open the opposition with the two Advanced Forwards at the top of the pitch.

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

Loving the shape! Any ideas/tips on how to make it a little more defensively solid? Could DW work? Any team instructions that may help?
Hi! Great video, altough I feel exposed on the wings, can be the VOL be replaced for something like DM, or a least one? That can work?
You could but this wouldn't solve the wing problem. As it's an odd shape it is one where you won't be 100% defensively solid
Would love to see a rebuild of yours with this tactic!

I would love to see GYR create a tactic called valerian attack as a 343 and the attack but references the style of play he played at my club Barnsley which was attack attack and attack
So is this with wbs and dms, 2 wingers and a striker?

Hi I am playing fm23, I have all training and youth facilities top of the art, i have a head of youth with the more important attributes all 20, but my youth intake is still below average. Is there a reason for this?
Is your team in a location where there are several teams? Also how good is your clubs reputation?

Tried this one out for a season at Aberdeen, nice tactic although defensively it lacks alot of stability in the wide areas. Obviously that's going to happen if you dont use fullbacks but i think you could change one of the two volantes to help the defensive structure
I'd have a mess around with it. Dm on support could work. Not sure exactly how much it would impact the attack while helping the defence
