What we are witnessing here is a clash of tradition and modernity. Look at the damage done to buildings and utility poles (who pays for that??) and how the men on top of the wagons are extremly close to the power lines which can result in instant death by electrocution. This festival certainly has its place and should be celebrated but it doesn't fit into todays environment.
