Thank you, they were a touch tacky when I made the video, but the floor finish I used for them was dry, but not completely cured. they worked great after about a week of curing.
I would love to make you a set. But you probably don't want them in walnut and maple do you? Very expensive wood to take tailgating. I could make them in a less expensive wood and drop the price considerably. Either way, get ahold of me. All my info at www.harndenwoodworks.com
Did you have a way to attach the boards together for transport at the end, or did they each have a handle and you were just carrying them together? Very nice project. I'm looking to do some for my daughters wedding as well.
Beautiful Boards doctor!!!!!!! How did you attach the plywood to the frame?.. I think the wood is too thin for a rabbet... But i didn't see any screw or nail holes.... did you just glue it? Dowels on the edges of the plywood? or is the top just floating in mid air?.. lol
Thank you for saving the rest of us from typing the same comment. As my mom used to say about Dick's (sporting goods), "can't they call it something else??"
Yeah. It used to. But the term has been acquired by the backyard sport of what we used to call "Bean Bag Toss". There is even a National Cornhole Association that sets standards for tournaments. www.playcornhole.org
Head on over to www.sienci.com/?ref=phillipharnden and get yourself one. Totally worth the money. They aren't that expensive. But you could use a router with a circle jig. let me know if you would like a video on how to make one. There are plenty out there already though.
Amazing video, amazing gesture, amazing father! Well done!!!
I really appreciate the comment. Be back with some more videos soon.

scary seeing that jointer rock back and forth during use.
Yeah, I fixed that issue a while ago... Was sketchy to use
Beautiful boards. Seems like bag were a bit sticky. Assuming that was bag quality and not boards

There are two small registration tabs that keeps them aligned when held by the handles

I'd like to know as well. Where the sides meet the plywood looks perfect. I'd like to have seen that part.

Clearly, Cornhole means something different where I was raised...
Yeah my dad says the same thing. I call them bean bag boards around him. But there is an official Cornhole association for the sport.

You lost me at "....picked up some maple...." LOL! Have no interest in $400 corn hole boards.
Well there are hundreds of plywood and pine boards out there. I wanted something special for my son.
I dunno....maybe with knot free lumber and dovetailed joints...😀
@@philipwhichard8197 I would have to practice up on my dovetails. But I like how you think.
Lost me at that nasty ass music!!!

@@HarndenWoodworks I was thinking the same thing about the cnc. I had no idea they were so cheap! Thanks for the link
As an outsider…you should stop vaping. You sound like Darth Vader
Was more the extra weight I was carrying. Lost 80 pounds since then. But the nicotine habit doesn't help.
@@HarndenWoodworks glad to hear…sometimes we’re too close to see things. My son vaped for while so a little sensitive to it. Hope the best for you.
@@carrangil You weren't wrong though. Still need to quit the habit. It's next on my list of healthy changes.
