Hi Kentucky Folk! We are heading back down to KY next weekend. We will be riding from Burlington, Rt. 18, 338 and 42. Then the next day will be doing Red River Gorge/Nada Tunnel and staying at Natural Bridge for a night. We are excited to see those areas! Stay tuned and be safe!

@@twowheelbuckeyes 42 Is a really long route that goes to Cleveland down to Louisville! Lots to see on any part of it! It’s even called “the scenic route” as opposed to I-71
18 is awesome, from Rabbit Hash to Burlington to Florence, lots of things to check out!
And 338 is awesome, it zig zags! And passes by big bone!!! From richwood/walton to Rising sun to Burlington and finally back to route 20!
      Y’all have fun!
Take pictures of the water tower, if you haven’t already! “It says (Florence Y’all) (instead of Florence Mall)
And that natural bridge it beautiful!
I still have fond memories and sweet pictures of it!!
Last thing… RED RIVER GORGE is amazing! And sometimes you should check out mammoth cave, and Cumberland falls!!
We also have Daniel Boone’s grave in Frankfurt! We aren’t all talk and a badge :)

Haha! Lots of great info! Thank you! We had been talking about Cumberland as a destination. And how could we pass up seeing the bones of Daniel Boone! (Loved the TV show as a kid) Be safe!

I really enjoyed your video. Loved the history of Rabbit Hash. Small towns can often have some quirky and/or amazing stories.

The record player does still work and you can change the records as you want. The pin map is really cool and amazing. The area surrounding the USA is full of written names for people that are from outside the USA. That was one of my favorite things. Also if you go on a Sunday they have constant live music behind the wood stove in the general store. It’s just people hanging out like they would at the house playing instruments and singing. Such a cool place and the ferry is now free to ride and it goes just about all day up until 8 pm and it just runs back and forth and load and unload pretty quickly so even if you just miss it you’re only waiting 20 minutes or so and that’s if you just miss it

Very cool! Great information. Thanks for the input!! Really like the idea of the music on Sundays, and free anything works for us! 😀

A nice video of the Rabbit Hash and Rising Sun area. I used to live around Cincy and going to spend time at Rabbit Hash was one of my favorite things to do. I love riding those roads of Northern Kentucky and SE Indiana. I haven't been back up for two years now due to one reason or another. You had a lovely day to make that run. I also used to boat this section of the Ohio on a regular basis. My boat was too big to get into shore at Rabbit Hash because the water gets shallow and there is lots of junk like concrete blocks and snags (trees and other nasty things on the bottom) to get into the area. I sure do love your footage of those roads I came down so many times.

Awesome! It’s definitely a beautiful area and a cool place to visit. We aren’t big gamblers but we did stop in the casino boat last time. Great area to ride for sure! Thanks for watching and commenting.

We rode to Rabbit Hash when the H.O.G Rally was in Cincinnati several years ago. Very nice ride.We took the ferry over to Kentucky though. The Mayor at that time was a black Lab . I am unable to ride these days and really miss it .

Hi there! We use the standard wired headset plugged into the bike. We have found this to be very dependable and haven’t seen a need to incur the cost of a Bluetooth system yet.

Sure...we came down I-71 from Columbus. Exit on Route 18 in Florence, KY. Rt. 18 is a nice scenic ride once you get out of town. You turn on River Rd near Rabbit Hash and just follow the signs. After we crossed the river, we followed Rt. 56 and Rt. 50 along the river in Indiana until it ran into I-275 which takes you to Cincy and back on I-71. Hope that helps!
