This guy is amazing! I purchased his DVD course and its awesome. He goes into great detail not only about making rocks but the entire business end of it. He is very thorough in every part. A lot of information and well worth the money. Cant say enough.
Outstanding, we are old school plasterers here in the Cincinnati Ohio area, your videos are of great help for our upcoming project, which includes faux rocks. Thanks for sharing you are a true artist.
Thanks Phil, I very much appreciate your feedback. This type of work has always been my passion and at the same time it’s very rewarding and fun. Feel free to call me if you need and technical support on your upcoming project. Thanks, Jim 971-237-2957
Thank you very much for the positive feedback… I really appreciate you taking your time to watch my video. Don’t forget I have a 15 day synthetic rock DVD training course with awesome Tech Support. I can walk you through anything you have in mind to do .
There were 2 generations of my kids in the video… my two adult sons and 2 of my grandsons. My sons are now 37 & 40 years old and my grandsons are now 13 and 16. In fact my oldest grandson just got his drivers license now is loose on the road. Both my sons in my all my grand children have worked with me in the rock and I do enjoy teaching them but they’re not so big on making it a career as I have done. Thanks for your positive feedback and I really appreciate you watch my videos
These are great videos , I started by looking to learn how to make faux rocks and boulders, but now I need to ask , what do people do with these panels ?
Thanks for the positive feedback. I appreciate you watching my video… All kinds of rocks and rock features can be created with the panels. Our only limitation is our imagination and creativity.
thanks for your positive feedback I appreciate you watching. My video. If I answer that it would be a large lengthy answer… the short version would be mixed with appropriate for the application that you were serving currently.
I was hoping you'd cover cleaning of the rock face. I want to mold climbing holds from nature, but I can't be spraying sealant and leaving it, ruining the route. Do you have any alternatives that would leave the rock face pristine as found?
I'm trying to learn how to make the rocks and panels to fashion and build a waterfall water feature in my front yard. I cannot afford all the rock to build what i want. This looks like it could be done even by someone small like me. Are you actually LIVING in Oregon, and if so, would you personally teach someone how to make panels and rocks?
Hi, I really want to learn more about the panel molding process. Where can I buy this training? I'm from Canada, would be interested in your "DVD" version. It's for a one time DIY waterfall project. Is it worth making my own molds or should I buy these molds somewhere from you? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Yes… Email me and I’ll send you a PayPal invoice that you can pay online. Once paid I’ll email you the download link. Currently you can purchase the 15 day synthetic rock DVD training course online download version of $750, but I have it on sale right now for anybody from RUclips at $495. With the purchase I’m also throwing in my Easter island template kit at no additional charge My email: info@fauxrocktraining.com

For some reason I did not catch onto what the final rock casting material was. You mention a cement pump, but what kind of cement is it,and where can I get it?
We use a proprietary fiber reinforced cement composite. As far as the cement pump we have it was made by a company who is no longer is in business called exlent pumps, the pump is call “ dominator”. It is a peristaltic type pump. There are tons of different manufactured pumps just got a find the right one for your what your application is.
Not me watching how to mold a rock videos to make a good looking reptile rock background for my day gecko because I’m a broke college student that can’t afford the universal rock reptile backgrounds. If you want a gecko I breed gargoyles and would trade for a rock panel like this 24x48inch lol 😭
Making rock using a mold, is only but one of 12 different methods that you can use to create the rock effect… dig a little deeper you’ll figure it out without the panel. Thanks very much for watching my video.
@@fauxrock and that would hold up through say a waterfall? Or would it need some kind if sealer? And what kind of sealer do you think is best for concrete that stays wet? Great videos by the way.

Yes I sell rock and stone mold and skins as well, just give me a call 971-237-2957
Can I turn that into a privacy fence and if so how much would something like that cost
Yes you can build walls. The cost depends on your ability to do the job or have someone perform the installation.
Hi. Are you use VF forton 774 on your mix or water.
It varies as to the application that is being served...
Most rock can be made without any acrylic, but some jobs require more strength and water resistance which will require the Acrylic admixture
Thank you. For you're comment.🤠💯👍

Could you tell me what pigments/paints do you use? Where can I buy it? (If it possible in Europe.)
I use Acrylic and/or latex paint which I do use pigment on an occasion to tint a color if needed.
@@fauxrock and that would hold up through say a waterfall? Or would it need some kind if sealer? And what kind of sealer do you think is best for concrete that stays wet? Great videos by the way.
I seal the stained rock with a sealer that is 100% acrylic and is carried in a xylene based solvent.
