TRIBU TAWILI- KASADYAHAN SA Kabanwahanan 2025

𝟗 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧
Nine tribes representing their municipal festivals will compete for the 2025 Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan to showcase the “Fun, Foodie, Friendly” offerings of the province of Iloilo para sa Bagong Pilipinas.
Meet the competing tribes today, December 22, 2024, at the SM City Northwing Activity Center, 1:30PM, as they give a preview of their performances that will highlight the rich culture and heritage of Iloilo.
Maasin’s Tultugan Festival is a tribute to the tultugan, a native bamboo percussion used as a tool for communication and for creating music. The reigning 2024 Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahan champion also won second place during the 2024 Aliwan Fiesta.
Calinog’s Hirinugyaw-Suguidanonay Festival is a cultural festival highlighting the art of telling stories through chanting. Represented by Tribu Halawod, the municipally won second place.
Leon’s Kaing Festival pays homage to kaing, the town’s symbol of abundant harvest and rich natural resource. It ranked third place.
Banaag Festival of the Municipality of Anilao features a display of thousands of beautiful lights with breathtaking performances.
Tinuom Festival pays tribute to Cabatuan’s signature dish, tinuom, with vibrant costumes adorned with chicken feathers and energetic dance performances.
Haw-as Festival celebrates Dumangas’ bountiful fish harvest, showcasing the community's reliance on fishing and agriculture.
Tangyan Festival of the Municipality of Igbaras is a celebration of the town's river as a vital source of inspiration, livelihood and recreation, while highlighting environmental concerns through vibrant dance performances.
The Cry of Jelicuon Festival representing the Municipality of New Lucena is a re-enactment of the historic Cry of Jelicuon that signaled the Ilonggos’ fight for freedom against Spanish rule.
Tawili Festival is San Rafael’ s depiction of volunteerism or the Filipino value of "Bayanihan" which embodies the spirit of cooperation and unity.
The upcoming Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan is slated on January 25, 2025 and is hosted by the Iloilo provincial government. This is the second time for the provincial government to host the event.
The 2025 Kasadyahan sa Kabanwahanan is in partnership with the Iloilo City government and the Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. It is one of the highlights of the 2025 Dinagyang Festival.
