When DAVE MOORCROFT Dominated Middle Distance Running

Moorcroft appeared in three Olympic Games for Great Britain in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He is also a two-time Commonwealth Games champion, with gold medals for both the 1500m and 5000m events. In 1982, he broke the world record in the 5000m by more than five seconds. Moorcroft's record stood for more than three years.
