Great video Bob, those restoring these will really benefit from it. I think it is so great you are doing this series.
The small rubber wedges you use to level a toilet base might be a good fit to shim that tension band
There was a brazilian version of the predicta slightly different from the american version. Basically the position of the knobs and controls. In the 60s both models was sold here in Brazil.
Hey there, on an unrelated note I was watching one of your older videos where you mentioned being a Dr Who fan so I wanted share a story, when I was young my parents took me to a convention in the 70s and I got to meet Tom Baker and yes I touched the scarf
Very cool! I saw Tom speak at a convention in the mid 80s :) Very entertaining
@@bandersentv I still remember the surprise when Troughton and Pertwee joined him on stage
I asked awhile back on how to contact you about having you go through 1 or both of my Predictas. You told me but now I can't find it. Thanks for all you do.
Email is bandersentv@gmail.com. I think I responded to you on FB as well.
Yes. 1
Is that tenite? What happens when you have the white bloom that happens?
No, the 17" use acrylic. I polish off the white fog on the 21" Tenite screen covers with Novus #2.
@@bandersentv ah that's lucky! I've heard the tenite will keep deteriorating. Looks good anyhow!
@@newtronix Yes, it will and it shrinks more and more. Most sets have a visible gap around the outside.
How did you get it back together?
Reverse of how I took it apart. First, wrap the steel band around and screw it down. Then, stretch the decorative band and slip it back in place.
