Walcott has hardly played this season. He's not shit and he wasn't bad at all today. His movement was good, he drew Koln players off with good runs and was looking dangerous. The guy scored 19 goals last season, a good portion of them against good teams. He's not a bad striker to have around by any means. He needs to work on staying onside though, that's for sure, but other then that he was pretty decent.

Minus the fans jumping into sections and causing a ruckus at the entrance, why was the invasion such a big deal? Understand it hardly ever happens but why is it such a concern?
NorCal Gunner because having home and away fans in the same part of the stadium is never a good idea. I was at the game, sat in the family stand (just to the side of the clock end) and there was lots of Köln fans sat around us, very loud but from what I saw no trouble was caused by them inside the stadium with Arsenal fans. There are of course lots of kids in the family stand, and had anything kicked off it wouldn't have been at all pleasant for them. But because nothing happened it was a good game. Basically, it wasn't really a problem last night but it is always better to have the away fans and home fans separated.
