The longer you go without manipulating your child’s hair the better chance you have of growing it. Also a crochet needle works great to add beads.

Love this style! Are you still doing the LOC method or are you having better results with just using grease? If so, what leave in are you using?
I do a very minimal LOC method. So, just water, a leave-in and hair grease (plus a styler to tame edges). I twitch it up quite a bit but, Aunt Jackie's Knot Havin' It is my favorite (for Journey's hair). Minimizing products has definitely helped with Maiah's hair. Her hair has gotten a lot thicker. I can't tell with Journey because her hair has been super thick since day 1. =)
