    50 teeth @ $8.00 at john deere. That was first day I ever run slasher. I paid for them out of my wages , that's why I remember !!!

    Can the broken teeth be repaired or do you have to use new ones?

      Just gave to put new ones on, he busted all the carbide off, can't do anything with that old tooth after that.
      Edit, I'm not sure if you can weld new carbide on the old teeth but they are relatively cheap to replace so I'd say it's not worth the trouble.

      U can reuse the shank think that's what there called.. U silver solder new carbide tips on

    72" blade x 3.14=226" circumference. 226÷50 teeth=4.52" between teeth???

    If anyone wants to know why it's called a ball peen hammer, he is peening the rivet before he smashes it flat, and the hammer is round on the end. Are there straight peens? yes there are, but they wouldn't work in this situation.

    If you use a bigger hammer, then you will get a harder hit and it would save time, just saying, what I tried and it worked, for me.
