Hi dina, this video has been in my to watch list since you uploaded it, i just didn't want to play cause i thought it was gonna make me feel bad, i struggle with anxiety and i always feel guilty for not starting fitness i struggle with consistency, discipline and motivation. Not to say that after watching this, all of a sudden, i will start training but i have to say that the way you approach the topic is so honest, realistic, smooth, thoughtful and accessible that it makes me feel calm and good really. I thought I hate working out and exercises in general( I mostly did cardio and body weigh and I really really really hated it. ) But this year I decided to go to a proper gym and try lifting weights and machines . Surprisingly I liked it! This is my third week and I’m still learning a lot but I’m glad that I finally found something I enjoy doing ☺️ So if anyone hates working out just try new programs/ classes and sports until u find the one that you really enjoy doing it.
Physical activity used to be a big part of my life, because it was the only thing I was good at. I used to fight in Muay Thai. I was getting ready for another fight, but then covid hit. After that, I got married and had a baby which I am grateful for. However, getting to the gym whilst having a baby so young just don't seem right. Having a baby is such a selfless thing, why do I feel bad for taking time out to work on my health. I dont know. I'm also 22 so a lot of learning is needed. Watching this video reminded me of why I need to get my fitness routine back!💖 Your discipline is so inspiring to me✊ *consistency is key*

During lockdown, I bought any workout stuff that was pink: dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, etc. My living room is my gym. Like before lockdown I had my apartment gym open 24/7 or other gyms but when they closed, I bought all this stuff.
Yes she’s back!! I love working out but can never stay consistent and with two kids I always find an excuse but I really want to try skipping! I think I will Like it and it burns calories instead of a leisurely walk outside

This was very motivational! Can you talk about how not to be focused on losing weight while working out. I always work out with the mindset of I need to lose x amount of calories, do cardio for this long etc to lose weight and anything less I do won’t make a difference weight wise. How do you not focus on losing weight during your workouts?
