    With a strong hand, should we open 2C to make sure partner knows our strength or open at the 1-level to give us more space for a conversation during the auction to explore slam?
    Graeme is here to remind us there is a time and place for both approaches. But how to know when to be the tortoise and when to be the hare?
    I also ask Graeme about Cue Bids, but forgot one thing... can you spot why a cue bid (or control bid) wouldn't work to let partner know about our singleton in this auction?

    North shouldn't be bidding 3D opposite 2C with that ropey diamond suit - ideally should have HH10xx+ to not bid 2D opposite a 2C opener.
