This debate is simple : Ambiga speaks from statistics that has names and substance to substantiate her points. KJ speaks from statistics that comes from EC who has already a very poor or non reputation for credibility. How can he keep saying Ec says this, Ec says that? That's just a pure abuse of brand which in the first place, the brand is infamous for being corrupted? Also, using personal remarks is unprofessional and only uses emotion to sway one's rationality in thinking objectively.
What I don't like about BN is the corruption, governance and the nation 's economic management. They can do better. What I don't like about PR they are too smart for their own good and too arrogant sometimes. PR's supporters bluntly believes that PR coalition is free of corruption and always right while BN supporters know BN's bad habits and they are aware. PR is a charismatic Oppositon coalition but will they be good at governing our Country? So far from what I see, people are starting to be rude, much more racist and disrespectful towards policemen. Now, Anwar (soon to be MB) and his family, his cronies are on top of the food chain of PR. So what's the difference now between them and BN?
We need more MP like Khairy, who brave enough to face his opponent in a public debate !! As far as i know hes the only one who came out more than once ! Too bad there's too much little Napoleon behind the curtain !

i don't know but i got the feeling that in the end, Khairy just highlighted the inefficiency of the agencies and the government department. been more than 50 years and now they only find out? what have they been doing so far? i applaud this civil and educated debate. both did well, and i find this is the most civil debate and on topic ever.

Her 'facts' are an accurate representation (or the closest form of statistical analysis) of all the pressing problems within the EC. I don't see any reason/motive/political gain as to why Ambiga would want to misrep these facts against an independent body such as the EC. The only reason why a person would commit to such effort, is due to her unselfishness in fighting for what's right. Tell me, who the fuck wants to waste their time making these stories up?? I truly applaud her for her effort,

If not for the sources from her own research team, what other 'reliable sources' does she have?? What other sources do we have?? Would you actually trust the EC themselves? I have a permanent Resident of Malaysia status since 1993. I have been given that status legally approved by UNHCR, Government such as PERKIM as a humanity programs for the bad things happened to my old country. For now, I don't have the right to vote for the next general election (PRU13) because of my status. Perhaps, I have no chance at all. But if let say a chance is given by either opposition party or gov for me to vote LEGALLY, insyaALLAH I would still choose the current government.
KJ has definitely outwitted Ambiga on this debate. For some reason I have a feeling that Ambiga probably underestimated him, at her own expense. Khairy seems to be more well prepared and intuitive, while Ambiga appears quite distracted and technical. Never underestimate your opponent!

there is no role of declaring them selves where by the system allows to do it so very fast... the EC suppose to send a formal letter saying that we have found that you have just joined the army thus your old IC is changed to army identity card number... the person will have to reply them after receiving the letter... changing IC number is sth very crucial and how can a governmental department let it happened and not knowing who has changed it...
in the end, debate is only a debate, did any of the facts be refine and implemented? a very easy way to have a fair elections, each poll to have EC, member to be voted and a third party, accompanied with live TV showing outside poll center
what I can say is we must give respect to Khairi for his willing of have open debate -- this show a new generation Malaysian able to debate. But to be sad about the facts he try to bring out.....no proper study....

.if you are try to argue about the number...1XXX out of 4XXXX is not enough to get the hypothesis tested to proved and support his point. and he must tell us the number of XXXXXX how many % in this condition, how many % transfered due to border restructured and how many % due to others factor --- and base of which map it follow the restructured? then we only can decide either the hypothesis is true? Otherwise, just simply get 1 or 2 example is very unconvincing.
