Great video! I understand how to allow certain apps for installation, but as an admin, how do I make the end user "request" an app that starts an approval event to the admin for allow or deny of that app?
@@AndyMaloneMVP I came here to find the same thing. In our old Teams admin site, I have an app policy with only approved apps. When someone tries to add an app not already approved, I receive an email notification w/the subject "Action required: Review (user's) admin consent request for ZOOM-GRAPH". I'm looking to impliment this for future clients and not seeing how to do that.
Teams is now the loaders included in the Microsoft 365 licenses and has to be purchased at an additional cost. Also teams as an application is a busy application. There’s lots going on where a zoom tends to be more simple again, I’m not interested in the other year, just simply stating a fact.
Thank you Andy for your video presentation on Microsoft Teams apps, I have a question though, as a regular user you can only get access to certain apps, depending on the license you get. Is it only the admin who can decide what sort of MT apps a user can get access to and the features? It is not quite clear.
Hi, Andy. Happy New Year I really like your videos, & constantly i watched your videos..let me know, i want to do a certification in Microsoft 365, how can i do it?
Thanks very much and the same to you 👍 certification with Microsoft is easy simply go to learn.microsoft.com and create an account. Look at the 900 series of courses. For example SC 900 is a starter into security, whereas MS 900 is a starter for administration. AZ 900 is a starter for infrastructure management and so on you can do the entire course self study online for free which includes videos and docs. From then you simply go and book an exam. Once you’ve passed that exam skies the limit you can then go on to more in-depth certifications. Good luck and all the best, Andy

I’m not sure if you can do this in Microsoft teams

Did you ever figure it out? (I'm wanting to block all but a handful of apps and have users request any app that wasn't already allowed)
Great video as always!
100k Lets GO!
True. The 100K milestone is almost here...
Why would you add zoom and not use Teams?

It depends generally on the admin as apps are licensed Separately 👍
@@AndyMaloneMVP Thank you, Andy, for the reply, it is like that indeed.
