Nuts. I’ve had him on my HUT team in chel almost every year because of that goal… my nickname for him (in chel): Hertl the turtle 🐢 because of how slow he was

As a Sharks fan, Hertl has been one of the few bright spots of this terrible season (Mario Ferraro and Stefan Noesen being the other two).
Not only that he is a fantastic player but he is just so damn likable, he is too pure for this dark hockey world.

I was at his 4 goal game, section 109, row 22, seat 14. I've been to hundreds of Sharks games in my 28 years, that one easily ranks top 3 for games I've been to!

I was there! The building was electric. Can’t wait for the Sharks!! to get back to the winning ways we became so lucky to witness. Yes, I’m aware we never won a cup. As a season-ticket holder, that’s the worst feeling ever. But I’ll never forget some of those great teams sharing those memories with my dad, priceless.
