What you're explaining while you're eating in the garden is soooo me. Even though you feel like you're not doing the thing your brain is trying sooo hard to do it and you end up exhausted. And so angry at yourself. That nap is the reset your ADHD brain needs. And I actually need to listen to myself here... because I never let myself have the nap and instead am stuck in bed at 6pm still beyond frustrated at myself that I haven't got up and on with my day with a massive to do list! From now on I'm letting myself have the nap!
And omg yes to gigs on your own, I do this all the time 😁. You can dance like no one's watching!
Its frustrating, but understanding it key and not giving your self a hard time about it! x

Like yourself in the past 6 months I've come to the realisation that when your in the lows that you can't explain acceptance is key. Don't try to understand it. It just is what it is and don't over analyse or beat yourself up over it. Such a simple in words but it's really helped how I've dealt with those moments
I had been pondering over my seconds for like 5 years much like Grace and got them done at Indigo in Norwich, they’re so good in there! So pleased she had a positive experience as well, she was quite similar to me when I had mine done haha!
Would honestly consider travelling over from Belfast to get a piercing with that class blue haired girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️ what a babe!!

I used to be a kennel manager, and frontline never ever worked, I consulted a vet about fleas and she told me that frontline doesn’t work, it isn’t strong enough for field fleas (wild animals with fleas) so your always fighting them 😭
Helen, try K9 Advantix. It’s a monthly topical and also helps kill fleas wherever the doggies frequent. You can also try Seresto; it’s a flea/tick collar that lasts for 8 months. A bigger investment but worth it for those who don’t want to treat monthly. Love the vlogs! A big fan from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️
It’s true, frontline has become immune to fleas :( Advantage & stronghold are the ones that got me out of an infestation myself after using frontline religiously for years and wondering why we still got fleas!! And only Indorex spray for the house! I’ve heard advantage is now on the way to being immune too :( x

Don’t stress out about the flea issue. Things happen and it’s not saying you’re a bad pet owner. You love your babies and it’s all fixable!

My favourite healthy treat is a juicy Medjool date with the pit removed and replaced with crunchy natural peanut butter, dipped in a bit of melted dark chocolate, and frozen. I always have a batch in the freezer and they really scratch that post-dinner itch as they taste like Snickers.
I get like that on the daily. Wake up good and by the evening, I'm just like a wet sponge. Heavy and blah with thoughts and misery.

Because of my BPD, my brain doesn’t cooperate with what can help it a lot of the time, I get inevitably very low every evening and for the most part, ‘reset’ in the morning, somewhat. It’s frustrating and I become bored of it because I’ve so many goals to fulfil

Hey Helen, keep your eyes out for Ticks on the doggos too after they’ve been in long grass etc. my little bear had a nasty tick bite and we didn’t realise until it fell off in our bed 🥴 poor little ted had a big old bloody lump on his armpit :( x

I get Itch delivered monthly for my cat, means I can't forget! It's the same formula as frontline plus! And they have an option to send a wormer every 3 months too!
Don’t stress about not flea/worming your dogs! You don’t wanna be chemically treating something that isn’t there. You can get supplements from many companies (we use VermX) which helps repel fleas/ticks naturally. Just add to your dogs meals! You can also do regular worm counts on your dogs to check for any parasites and then treat if necessary. Adding chemicals/pesticides to your pets for no reason isn’t ideal/needed 😊

For anyone reading please DON’T use frontline. It’s incredibly shady, can cause burns and sicknesses in your pets. Fleas are terrible and it will often take months to eradicate them. Take your pet to the vet and get the best possible flea medication and treat the WHOLE house.

@@helenanderz good luck! My mum spent a YEAR getting rid of fleas once - they’re nearly as bad as clothes moths!
I really rate the flea subscription service at pets at home. Started it when I only had one dog and so one comes through the letterbox for her every month and I only deflea every so often as it's not always necessary in winter so I have a stock pile to also use on my second dog too 😂

I LOVE Rhythm 108 bars and chocolate, they are amazing! I can't eat dairy, and Rhythm 108 is by far the best for dairy free treats! The lady at Indigo was so lovely, I've got all my piercings done there and they are so good x

I know this is a random thing to say but dogs can see blue the best, when the ball is pink or red they see it as greyish green so it will blend in with the grass, maybe try use a blue ball and see if that helps ☺️ all the best! Keep up the good work!!

If I have a busy day, visit places and new people the next day I always feel a little empty, which causes me to not do the things I want to do, cleaning etc. I’ve kind of figured out (from having a daughter with adhd and autism) that I’m just over stimulated and I need to give my brain chance to feel calm and process the information from the previous day, so I just take some time so my brain can catch up with my body and be able to be more productive, if I don’t it kind of drags out and I get myself into a little slump which can last anything from a day to weeks/ months.
That was in regards to the conversation in the garden, I’m not great at communicating 😂😂 and this was my way of relating 😅😅

Treatments often vets are far better u pay in and get them monthly
I'm surprised that piercer was happy to do four as healing three at once is usually the limit, four might have been OK with some one who has piercings already and knows the aftercare like the back of their hand, but on a newbie? Nope.
