  • Happy holidays! The first day of our annual holiday and we are remaining at home. Plenty to do in the garden though. Watch my efforts to provide a growing space for my Gherkins. The Spuggy Box is in place and we have pigeons nesting in the Pear tree. If you enjoy my video please subscribe to my channel. Thanks for popping in. AJ

Good advice my friend about the pandemic. You and Cheryl enjoy your break. You both deserve it and keep up the good work in your job and on RUclips. I do enjoy watching how you are getting on. I think the gherkins are going to be too close together if they are anything like regular cucumber plants, but I haven't grown gherkins before so I wouldn't know. I am experimenting with cucamelons this year. They are doing well. Take care.

Hey, how it going, like the music you used for this video. I see that you upload loads of content but get no views in return. I started around the same time as you and are growing nicely. What I'm doing differently is really raining in on my keywords. The first step for any small youtuber is getting your videos in search. The way to do this is putting keywords that people search for in the title, tags and description of your video. Obviously big channels get first dibs on keyword ranking but you can easily rank for keywords with less competition. One tip I would give you is to buy the TubeBuddy app for your phone or try out their free chrome extension on your PC. If you use their keyword research tool you can put keywords that relate to your videos in and they will give you a ranking of how likely you are to rank high in that keyword and suggest related keywords. They will also show you how high the keywords you are using now rank in search. Hope this helps. Happy Growing.

Thanks for the advice bud. It is a bit frustrating not getting the response I am looking for. What video editing software do you use as I am using Adobe which I find very limited. I appreciate the support. Cheers, AJ

@@TheLifesGood I am doing all my editing on my phone ATM on an app called Kinemaster it's super simple and has all the basic editing tools you need. When I hit 1000 subs I am going to start using Adobe Premiere Pro. I've already downloaded it and am playing about with it as we speak. It's a bit of a learning curve.

@@WelshChilli thanks for that. I too do my editing on my phone before uploading to PC. I will check out the Kinemaster app to see if I can use that for a while. Thanks for the info. AJ
