    Dude is on a whole other level than anybody else. This build is mind bendingly amazing. Of course, it will be the handful of all handfuls to operate, but really, it’s more a work of industrial/mechanical art than anything else. It’s an exercise in excess. Freaking gorgeous. I’d guess the higher up the rider can sit, the easier it MIGHT (?) be to operate, but who am I to second guess whatever it is Ethan might have in mind.

    If you do a front single swing arm, you might want to do it on the opposite side of the rear to counterbalance the weight at the rear and make the bike more rideable, i fear the weight of all this tubing is going to off balance it a lot and render turning left way more easy than right!

    • @mrastleysghost
      @mrastleysghost 6 месяцев назад +5

      I don't think it's a significant enough unbalancing force to worry about. It's low to the ground and theres a ton of mass right on the centerline from the motor, beefy hubs, and giant wheels

    You should flip the front wheel around, so that each side gets a hub and each side gets a mechanical component. It might help with the weight leaning to the left as well. Because it’s really going to lean left once the engine is running and it has rotational mass and torque all on one side.

    • @jaredlancaster4137

    'So long as it's perfect, that's good enough'
    Then sit back and holding my breath, admire my finished work.

    I love what y'all do. Good old Idaho boy myself. As a machinist though, watching you measure a bearing fit with a pair of calipers hurts so bad!!! Bearing fits are incredibly tight tolerances and should be measured with micrometers. Can't wait to see the finished build. Wish I could ride up there and meet y'all someday.

    Been watching you for years. Underrated champions on RUclips from Ethan’s metallurgy wizardry to the cinematic sorcery video editing. Best channel on RUclips.🤘Send It!

    Continuing to impress! The production quality has gotten even better lately. Loving the long episodes showing you actually building and the design process. Great sound track as well. Shout out to the boys behind the scenes busting their ass too!

    Gotta love the engine stand your using at the end of the video. Much better than the battery you were using earlier in the video.

    This was so spot on I paused it, rewound it, and made my 2 boys come sit and watch it with me. Social media impact is a huge topic in our house, so thank you for making that.

    hey ,,, everything is looking great ! I'm really looking forward to seeing the final outcome and how well it will work !! Looking at the plasma table and seeing what you are making , really hits home at how much math skills can be the determining factor !! You are doing a great job at showing us what skills are needed to produce a part and also how that part will work !! I really enjoy this and I will be looking forward for the next video !!!
