I remember reading before that the only AI (from the original set atleast) that would never stop building troops after a certain cap is Wolf. He is slow to build up, so he needs time and space, but given the time and space I think he could theoretically beat the most amount of Rats.
I think its the standard Ai from the UCP (Unofficial Crusader Patch). I can highly recommend the UCP ,it brought me like 150+ more houers of Fun with the Game
@@mogamingger7928 Oh, alright, thanks for informing me! I'll look into it once I played through the campaigns with the standard AI. Gonna see how it goes afterwards with the UCP
@@sebastianneff1004 For me some Campaign missions were quite challenging with UCP, but when i am honest the most Missions with Vanilla Ai are Easy. So have fun and good luck
@@mogamingger7928 thanks! Yeah, so far they haven't been a big challenge, lol. Just today I did the mission VS 5 snakes rather easily. Horse archers are OP XD
Pikemen are supposed to be elite mooks. Not exactly something associated with a scheming mastermind archetype that Snake represents, while fitting for a dumbass that shouldn't be in power like Rat (as in, this kind of guy always has some semi-decent people around, left from the time of the previous ruler, being all like: "THIS is our next lord? What have we done to deserve this?"). That being said, it is pretty weird that the UCP doesn't give the duc of Beauregard back macemen he had in Stronghold 1.
I recommend for future videos in this series, you can start with each ai fighting 2 Rats since they all can beat one.
Continue in this series
yes
The rat ai changes are probably my favorite. None of his 'charm' is lost but he is now much more of a threat
Thanks for the serie!! It will be very fun

With the Unofficial Crusader Patch and Aggressive AI The Wolf can pretty much 1v7 the others. He builds castle6 with more troops I believe
How can add commander and square to this version?
Wait... since when does the Rat use pikemen? I am confusion!

I do think snake should atleast have a few fire throwers in his keep for defense. Not a drastic change but fitting @@KurosawaOG
