@@glenearl9506Thank you for this information, but I knew this already. Eric Clapton’s version with guitar player Scotty Moore, however, is mainly inspired by Elvis’ version.
@@jasonkeith9317 Who is? But Clapton is Clapton....talent for talent, I think that E.C. is as talented than Elvis was. Anyway, in my own humble opinion that is....and of course, I'm a big admirer of both these artists.
That lead to money honey is pretty easy compared to some of scottys solos ,you can hear they are similar on other sun hits .ie ( Baby let's play house and good rocking tonight ) 2 great similar solos . I learnt them both in E
@@alexbowman7582 Yes its country style picking . I cannot use a pick ( god knows I tried ) I pick finger style ) Can do a fairly good imitation of mystery train .Have a telecaster and a echo amp.
Best rockabilly ever Elvis Scotty Moore and Bill black
the legend Scotty Moore!
sliding the E chord was shown to Elvis by Buddy Holly when he opened for Elvis and Scotty in Lubbock Tx
good job . dream come true for Eric to play with Scotty more
One of my favorites
You either got it or you ain't.....He's got it!
A very airy feeling. Ashame! For all the young kids. Innocent...
that made my soul smile!
Brilliant
Great cover of Elvis’ “Money Honey” by Eric Clapton with legendary guitar player Scotty Moore.
Clyde McPhatter & The Drifters dId it first. Elvis was a cover.

Sensacional
2 legends with the guitars
parabéns Eric...show!!!!
I wonder who's using the peavey stack?
I would have expected them to use ol' Fender Tweed Twin with vintage tape echo!
Excellent ! Who's the Bass player?
Pete Pritchard y es uno de los miembros originales de los Flying Saucers.
Is it just me or does scotty not look too enamoured with Eric?
He's just laid back, as always.
Don't know, but Scotty didn't play the full run as in the original. I wonder why.
Maybe because Eric is no Elvis??

@dominiquegaboury1301 Eric obviously a grear and better guitarist but as a singer and performer..Elvis is untouchable... Clapton not even close
IRRC, Eric didn't like to sing when he started out. Thank goodness he changed his mind. LOL
Screwed up aspect ratio.
I’m not surprised Clapton is playing rhythm, he couldn’t play Moore’s lead like Moore.
why would you want anyone else to play Scotty Moore if Scotty Moore is on stage himself ?
