That spinorama block on Sabonis at 5:47 and 7:36 is the prettiest block ever I've seen and is a play that Vic alone in the NBA is capable of. Even when you blow past him or get him to commit to a pump fake he has has the defensive instincts, quickness and length to shut you down. Also so many of his blocks are smothers where he blocks it and gains possession in one motion or they are tips or deflections to open teammates for quick transition attempts (aka Bill Russel assists). He rarely volleyball spikes it out of bounds.
It’s amazing how he is able to get back on second and third efforts. Yeah it’s crazy how he seems to be able to control where the ball goes from the blocks.

The problem is the rest of the team needs to step up. I'm looking for wemby to go to knicks or lakers by start of next year. Spurs are just too lame for him.

I watched every game since he joined the Spurs and he’s never in foul trouble
