Wow. Even with a bit of AI. Also great to see, that the Display handles fps below 30 so well. It is absolutely playable. My old Monitors look like a stopmotion movie when below 30 fps :D
I rebooted the SD. Loading into Industrial area, enabling traffic and changing car took 51 seconds. Since updating the deck though, opening options seems to crash the game. I might try beta channel or preview because BeamNG worked fine a year ago.
@@guest21984 Did you make sure to use proton experimental? If yes, you could also try to set the graphics to low but i don't know for sure if that's going to work because I don't have a deck yet. Thanks for responding.

Yes, surprisingly playable down to around 15 fps. You’re right, output to big screen it’s a lot more noticable
What settings are you using for the steam deck?
Which Steam deck settings? Game is normal, 4xAF, traffic on.
Do you have this installed on your SSD or SD?

@@PawsAndPistons195 I changed Steam deck channel to beta and its fine now. Either that or it jsut started working again.

Low but playable for a handheld. If I want a few hundred fps, i've got my desktop.

Proton Experimental. Always works the best for me.
Fyi Proton GE and proton hotfixes are rolled into Experimental so always best using it
