I've seen a Latin mass schola where the conductor had a tablet and they wore black formal wear. The schola here is absolutely incredible, just because you don't like it does not mean it's liturgical abuse.
@@cherubintambwe6177 The Schola at any Latin Mass, solemn high or low, are not part of the Mass. They do not make it a liturgy. If they were not there it would still be Mass. Solemn Vespers as this claims to be IS a liturgy.
the mass is also a liturgy, the highest form, so the schola is definitely part of the liturgy, just because it's not an integral part does not mean it does not form part of it

If a Schola is forming part of a celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours, it is an integral part of that celebration and not optional. This is never the case with a Mass.
@@stephenhauck5251 Your point about irreverence still does not stand, the church allows choristers to use tablets for sheet music, and the schola does not have to be in choir dress, even though it is preferred, so long as they are appropriately dressed it is fine. This is the law of the church, the church permits it, and it is perfectly llicit regardless of how you feel.

Dad and an uncle in my case and ironically the clergy have been a major support since… I can’t fathom how I’d cope without the church which is part of why clerical abuse is so insidious, it takes away what should be the most solid support apart from family. Struggle on, try and keep off the quick fix of booze and drugs (easier said I know), join a group survivor program for men, and if you’re in Europe or Canada then the state psychotherapy and psychoanalytical services are excellent for CSA survivors. If you’re in the US that’s very bad luck, just vote for someone who wants free public health care I guess
