    Looking forward to those documentaries Cam, Wishing you the best regarding them!!
    I had to leave the live just after the halfway point but came back after the fact to listen to the rest of it.
    What is the logistical gap between F2 and F1??, I'd love to see an accomplished team like ART or Prema on the F1 grid.
    It would also be a more fluid way of promoting F2 drivers into F1......

    Thanks for your solid & detailed analysis of what’s going on in F1👍
    A little more pace (and less repetitions) would make your podcasts even better😉
    I totally agree with your opinion on Carlos Sainz. Brilliant driver and sadly under estimated. Leclerc is a brilliant sprinter, but racing is a marathon.
    Personally, I think bringing Lewis creates at least as many problems, as it does opportunities, but as a fan & spectator of F1, I can only look forward in anticipation, starting with the transformation of dynamics and a changing political equilibrium, that will already reveal itself in the coming season.
    Again, tnx 4 doing what you’re doing & keep bringing Peter Windsor into your game. He’s “longwinded” too, but as an unequalled oracle, he has every right to be!👍👍💪👋

    This is a hit job on Horner, I can see that and I’m not even a fan of his. This is the war on men in todays society.Why is a woman allowed to ruin a man’s life with no due process while she stays anonymous only to do it again to another man?

    Great video as always, mate!
    Agreed with you that Sainz has incredible race and strategic awareness in the race.
    I do think that this skill was more pronounced in a team that lacked the strong strategy
    Would he still be the guy if he goes to a team that already has robust strategy? Eg. Redbull
    Or is his consistency what teams should be selecting for?

    You are building up a great channel Cameron! Love to see you struggle with Horner RB Affaire. If I would keep it simple, let RB Headquarters sort it out. If I would speculate, I see not a sexual improper behavior. Horner would have been non-active by now. Then Leadership style? For a F1 team counts to perform the best, if not the ultimate for all personnel. Counts for drivers as well. In performing to the ultimate for all personnel, leadership style comes along as well as culture at place. Demands are high. If you can't deliver and you are lucky, you get a second change and/or a penalty. As employee you can always step out, because it is not your cup of tea. Sad for the person, yes. At the end to become top in any sport, industry, etc. difficult decisions have to be made. What bothers me, why this is in the media at all? Again, speculation, hidden agenda's, politics? What should Sebastian Vettel think about this situation? No one has approached him yet. That would be interesting!

  • @Ogole-oye

    I think the Horner part whether it's BBC or SKY or independent media we are caught in the same trap of speculation without knowing what actually is going on. So It's a mass exercise in futility cos we don't know anything at all. The reactions and assumptions on social media are so wild and I'm like you don't even know what's true of false but because we are wired for toxicity we run and discuss speculation as fact. We simply don't know and should wait for the process to be concluded... innocent till proven guilty is my side of the road with any driver team or organization. But what seems obvious, there's a power struggle with the RB company and racing team. The new management wants full control in my view.

    I don't think Sainz has the same driving style as Max. His style is more like Checo's (picked that up from your mentor). Conclusion: it's a bad idea for Sainz to go to RB.

    Let us not forgot, it was Helmut who hired Horner and signed Verstappen. Horner’s done well, but is receiving too much credit, in my estimation. Mateschitz, Marko, Newey, Vettel, Verstappen. Christian played a part, but that’s what it was.
    Frankly, Dietrich’s passing marked the beginning of the end for RBR. Now they’ll go corporate and incompetent. I’m a RBR fan, and I must admit I’m slightly disgusted at how Horner instantly initiated a power grab when DM died. Have some class FFS.

    I will say this that I am disgusted by the unfounded rumours that are being spread around like gospel.
    The Red Bull team doesn't strike me as people that would not back Christian because for all intents and purposes they are a group that has been together since the inception of the team. You might argue they know each other pretty well.
    People are dividing the spoils of war without even conquering the enemy.
    It will be interesting to see what the reaction will be if all the nay sayers if he walks on stage on Wednesday.
    Because don't think for one minute that Horner will let himself be pushed in a corner especially if he is convinced he did nothing wrong.

  • @larsdijker7208
    @larsdijker7208 10 месяцев назад +1

    I wonder what Max thinks. I think he didn’t want any of this. He wants stability and the winning team to stay together including Christian. So if all goes from bad to worse it Wouldn’t surprise me Toto will give him another call. Probably at Mercedes they already have a plan to get Max when things blow up at RB. And in the end Christian and Helmut their beef caused it.

    • @c.l.8213
      @c.l.8213 10 месяцев назад

      I don't see Max switching to Merc until they're good again. Even with Horner gone, RB won't fall apart immediately.

      @larsdijker7208 10 месяцев назад

      @@c.l.8213 Not immediately. You are probably right about that. They still have a great car. But I think if for example Waché moves away to Ferrari and Newey retires or moves to Ferrari or Mercedes. And everything isn’t managed as Christian does anymore. Whatever has happened it isn’t easy managing a team and have to deal with Helmut and Jos. They aren’t like Niki was at Mercedes. If all these main characters move away then things might be different fast and then Mercedes isn’t a weird thought. Mercedes might be back as the most stable team again. And if Max goes there it will attract a lot of great engineers.

    I love that women are able to work in roles that were previously thought of as "male only" positions. But if you go into these environments that are competitive and intense, you need to be thick skinned and not sensitive. It is counter productive to have the complaints of the workplace come from women that are in the same hardship that the fellows have had to endure for so long!!!
