I hope you don’t mind if I share a fun fact with you I live in the West Midlands UK just up the road from Dudley in the 18th century the quarry men found a species of trilobite unique to the Wenlock limestone formation England called the Claymene Blumenbachii it’s around 422.5-427.5 million years old they nicknamed it the Dudley bug there was so many that it became the official symbol of Dudley and is also featured on the Dudley County Borough Council’s coat of arms 😊 Im hoping to go out fossil hunting before winter kicks in if I can find a couple il send them your way Kyle also because I no you so well il try and find you some English Brachiopods 😂😂 until then my friend keep digging much love ❤️

Waaaayyy Cooolll Kyle! Man...I am so green Jello right now! I'm ready to jump in the car and road trip to meet up with Jeff for my own trilobite treasures!! Took my family to the west Utah desert to hunt trilobites years ago in a shale formation. We found a bunch, but they were a much smaller species than those. The ones you found are NO DOUBT museum quality, especially the one with the druzy on it! That is an EPIC find! What an awesome amazing day y'all had! My boyfriend and I just got back from our favorite local fossil creek tonight. We were there until 'dark-thirty,' of course, until we were about 'give out' and starved to death! But hey...you know how it goes! My area in North Mississippi is covered in Late Cretaceous water fossils of the Mississippi Embayment. We have corals, sea lilies, many shells, crabs, shrimp, lobsters, shark teeth and ammonites. We also find dinosaur bones such as hadrosaurs, pleisiosaurs, and mosasaurs. Mastodon bones and tusks are found occasionally. Kyle...you have an open invitation to stop by and hunt with me anytime on your way to-from Michigan! That would be a blast! Also, I would like to say how much I have enjoyed following your music as well. You are a very talented musician! I can't wait to listen to your new album when it's released! I used to live by the UofI before we moved to Iowa back in 1994. But I grew up in the area and it is my stomping grounds! Have fun! Illinois has lots of great stuff to find!
