The main reason behind closing the government run factories was they were not giving any profit to the nation . As they could not exporting goods . So Every year Nepal government had to provide subsidy to run the factories . This is the main reason for letting private companies to run .

And even our two big banks rastriya banjiya bank and nepal bank were not even profit making had covered a huge loss. Even sudar garnu parne bhayo. Our big banks were collasped.
