I’ve been trying to get a grandon mining corps ever since I started and I get a legend rare and 6 ubers before I get a single grandon mining corps ;-; Now I’m stuck on ITF chapter 1 and need miter saw
I got miter saw early into into the future and he absolutely carried me. I still use him while I’m in early cats of the cosmos and stories of legend. I have him at level 27 and he’s still pretty useful, I tend to mix him with seafarer. Even in non alien stages he is useful at pushing forward to get awakened bahamut to hit something useful. I’m glad he got an evolution, I don’t even know how to get rare cat fruit seeds but when I do, he is the first one imma evolve.
I think backhoe only being able to hit metals strengthens his niche, because he wont hit other traits before a metal enemy gets into his range, so he is less likely to miss attacks on metals.

Backhoe saved me on the level that introduced Sir Metal Seal (I don’t remember the level’s name) since I didn’t have Catasaurus and Jurassic Cat Sitter was outranged
Cutter saved me from Okame. My base was one hit away from death, but thanks to sniper cat and cutters quick speed I killed him right before it was too late. This alone is why he will probably remain my favorite of this set
The good thing about miter saw is that if you are trying to get treasures on a really easy level, miter saw can fly through the level and get you a treasure quickly. That is what i did EOC 1-3 and ITF 1-2
When I watched him in 1st spot I was like:"Wait,Cutter is better than Miter!?,WT-" like that,bc I don't give him too much opportunitys to use him (he is lvl 19)
Video Idea: You could do something like ranking cat combos. This might be hard to rank but i think it will be a pretty interesting video you could also do ranking all battle cat uber sets from worst to best
I think piledriver’s multihit kb and backwards omni are to bring zombies that burrowed behind it back to the frontlines and not for interrupting their burrowing animation

Backhoe actually useful in combo that increase critical chance. I often use it on mainly metal stages. Mitter saw can almost single-handly beat Cats in the cosmos stages and very useful against any aliens stage later. I'd say it's as powerful as cutter.
Note for each Grandon: 1. For Backhoe you can use him with Li'l Island, Moneko and Moneko Crazed to increase Critical chance, is too useful in levels like Ironsand Beach or Overnight Overtime 2. Due long cooldown Piledriver is recommended to use if Zombies reach to your base and KB them if Holy Blast didn't charge. It's better keep him instead of spamming him when you are playing close to the base 3. Saw is amazing in levels where you need take ocassional damage from piercing range. Levels like Blue Impact or Chapel Transfer are great examples 4. Driller is only when a single Traitless boss is the main threat, also he has a combo with Li'l King Dragon to increase Weaken duration, the uptime goes from 87% to 96% 5. A combination that I usually use is Tiny Ancient Hunt (Li'l King Dragon and Jiangshi) and Brave Cutter (Cutter and Li'l Dark) because has higher multiplier than Cool Japan and you have more useful cats in general uses: You have a meatshield (Jiangshi), a ranged attacker (Li'l King Dragon) and a rusher (Cutter)
Backhoe has two pretty good uses: mixed stages, and a crit combo with Li'l Whale. Target Only means that, unlike Soba, it won't "waste" crits on non-Metals. The occasional Surge also helps it hit more Metals at once.
I never knew my cutter was actually great, knowing he’s great at red, and actually i use him in mixed trait stages, giving him a nice benefit to defeat a large number of peons clogged by my meatshields and even finish off a boss, so overrall i do consider aswell that cutter is the best of the grandon mining corps set.
I was carried by miter saw ever since EoC chapter 2- the best one I’ve ever gotten. He pushes very hard against peons (especially alien ones) and has good cost and cd for what he’s worth. He even helped me cut through Camelle a few times recently…
There is an Uber fore these cats it’s called “Mighty Thermae D-Lux” level them up to level 20 or 10 and it will become a cat that uses a detector and then a crack comes for the ground and jumping out comes the grandon cats use this Uber for a video it’s cool :)
Hey Xskull, I have a video idea, you could make a video trying out Lasvoss Reborn in Primeval Souls. I think that theoretically Lasvoss should be pretty good in this stage because of his high sturdiness and decently high health combined with dogumaru’s low damage, he should be pretty good at rushing dogumaru and killing it quickly, plus he can probably help at killing the dark otters if he can fire off an attack, and his short cool down is probably really useful because when he dies another one will be ready to take his place. I haven’t really tried it myself, but I believe that with the right setup he can be really helpful in that stage.
Man my first one out of these was cutter and he really is helping grinding in Eoc and he is so strong when it comes to his high 10k damage (for me its one of my best cats)
When i was playing with my old account (when i was first new to the game) i had cutter as my first both good anti red and super rare. And when you know it, he absolutely demolished nyandam(Eoc Chapter 2 boss)
I use neo backhoe cat for the proving grounds. It helps me deal with the metal seal if I'm unlucky enough for that as the last stage. (Still need to get lucky to beat it)

Keiji. Yukimura is at least viable pre TF (although TF makes it a lot better), but Keiji needs his TF to be viable and the incredible unit that it truly is.
Ive had miter since my 3rd ever uber roll in chapter 1 and didnt even know miter was considered one of the best until i watched this video, and im still on chapter 2
The saw and cutter ones were the only two of these I had for the longest time (Until I got backhoe a week or two ago). To me, saw was always my alien carry, and cutter was... Useless 😬. This was most likely a skill issue on my part
I mean with Ubers you have to mainly just compare to each other, and inevitably there are going to be Ubers who suck at their trait compared to previous rarities, or even other fellow Ubers. If anything basing on Super Rares makes the comparison a little easier. Since you are less likely to compare them to something Rare, unless that trait effect is held by something like Sanzo Cat, or similar very powerful rare units.

Ive got two of these, piledriver, who is my favorite in terms of design, and driller, who i dislike his everything, but at least theyre both good and driller is an anti traitless, which is a rarity in the game, so neat

You should go for a 22 roll on ultra souls, my 11 roll got my Ushiwakamaru, Momotaro, and Crane, personally think ultra souls is the best set tied with almighties, also for now you should get bahamut to lv 20 cause that should be your priority for now.

Yeah the area attack is occasionally great for its niche, but the short range doesn’t make the aoe completely cracked or anything.

Cutter is quite impressive even against non reds if strengthen. With his own combo, strengthen DPS against non reds can reach over 8k😱
dps doesnt really matter at that point because cutter is melee and most likely at 1 hp so literally anything non ld can kill him

You should go for a 22 roll on ultra souls, my 11 roll got my Ushiwakamaru, Momotaro, and Crane, personally think ultra souls is the best set tied with almighties, also for now you should get bahamut to lv 20 cause that should be your priority for now.
