National security official says "Election Day will be a referendum" on faith in U.S. systems

- Matt Pottinger served as deputy National Security Adviser under former President Donald Trump and resigned after Jan. 6, 2021, and later testified that national security was in harm that day and it gave ammunition to feed a narrative that our system of government doesn't work. Pottinger tells "Face the Nation" that "Election Day will be a referendum" if there is still faith in U.S. systems.

Last night I was reading David Sanger’s New Cold War. On page 105, the second paragraph reads: Taken together, Pottinger and Doshi-among others- came to define the new Washington consensus on China and it’s intentions. Thank you Matt for the great work. We need smart people like you to defend our country against CCP.
In order to do that we need Trump bc Biden doesn’t have the moral capacity to stand up to China, or the commitment to the United States and peace that Trump has.
