Great to hear, ok so guys after a few frustrating days, tease the warning, do not upgrade your Mac past sonoma 14..7 or your have major issues not only with cuebase but with other plug ins as well. I can’t tell you the stress I’ve been through, however if this happens to you do the following. Take a back up on Time Machine, then reinstall Sonoma simply by doing a fresh install like your selling the Mac, make sure you turn auto updates off. Have you ever wondered why companies are dumping prices by 90%, well it’s because they won’t support that vst past the tech Mac give us so be warned, I’ve seen this before with some of my akai and Roland stuff. It’s robbery. 😝😝😝 glad you’re getting well Alice. Lastly, cuebase is amazing and my daw of choice but the 2 hrs support a day they offer worldwide is pathetic compared to others. I am however stuck with cuebase as I love it, I do however have ableton, logic and fl so it doesn’t hurt to test these out. So far for Mac I’m hearing great things about logic which is most similar to cuebase and they offer a 90 day trial plus it’s £199 for life, I also,have live 12 and it’s also a great daw but the learning curve is harder. Lastly, FL is really bugging me, I want to be able to use it but I find the mixing desk and other parts budget plus the inability to use multiple windows is rubbish, they do have the best slides in bass though but I have a sub 37 and you can’t beat the colour in sound. Pc users love fl, it’s not very Mac friendly. Peace ✌️
I have a question, why is my beat ducking the vocals playing loud in the KRK 5 monitor without any plugin on the beat ??? please if you could help. even if I pan the vocals 45 L and R the beat still ducking the vocal
@@alicebyno my room, yes it is. So the situation is that some lower frequency in the beat is causing it to duck the vocal ? As in the beat gets lower while the vocal plays. THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I TURN UP THE KRK MAX ... ...
@dand6450 I can’t guarantee the room is the cause, it’s just my best guess. I don’t have any experience with the KRKs either, but if you can calibrate them according to your room that might help.

Is your room treated in any way? Maybe some (lower) frequencies are overpowering the ones in the vocal range.
