Thanks, it will be useful also if you explain a bit the importance of the parameters we calculated. E.g what the degrees of freedom symbolizes and if a higher or lower value is desired.

Degree of freedom is used to find out the probability of accepting the null hypothesis in inferential statistics. It is related to sample size, therefore a higher degree of freedom would mean more reliable estimates to accept or reject a hypothesis.

I am trying to repeat the analysis in JASP. What type of ANOVA should be used. I have entered weight as the dependant variable and treatment as a fixed factor.. If I enter the distance from river and dist from road then I am told there are less than 2 observations after grouping so an ANOVA test cant be run. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have a doubt. In CRBD or two way anova without replicates we are able to see the main effects (no interaction effect) with respective p value, but in 2^2 design with no replicates it wouldn't give us any p-value, although we would get the main effects and interaction effect. Why is there this difference?

If there are two factors, use an open RCBD.

@@justinchoska F test or F value in ANOVA is basically variance ratio. In ANOVA, it is calculated to check the difference in mean values. This video might give you an idea about F value in ANOVA. ruclips.net/video/CqiFXxxA2gg/видео.html
