Imagine being Marvel Studios and getting beaten to doing Galactus in a live action movie by Transformers of all things. Legit thought these Unicron plans were scrapped after The Last Knight. But now that Bay’s not involved anymore I’m actually excited
Tbh, Galactus and Unicron are two different characters, technically Galactus is not an antagonist,more like chaotic Force of nature where as Unicron is pretty much the death star and pure evil. Btw who will voice this unicron?

Most Likely we would only see the Planet Version of Unicron in this film and his robot form would be saved for a later movie
Now that is how you show unicron. I will say he looks incredibly menacing and terrifying. I love it and scourge. Chills went down my spine with that voice.

I actually kinda like the take on Prime and the humans and how he diesnt initially trust them, and from what is seems he doesnt necesarrily like them. He doesnt hate them, hes just indifferent. Its an interesting take but i like it.
There's a few things I really like about this trailer. First at 1:03 is the timing of BattleTrap's missiles to the beat of the music. Second, at 1:16 is the epic way the music swells swells as Unicron's Maw approaches Earth's surface. I really hope this remix is in the OST. Third, at 2:16, Arcee and Wheeljack fighting together reminds me pleasantly of Transformers Prime.
Soon as I saw Unicron I literally screeched and said out loudly "OH MY FUCK!" they done such a fantastic job with this trailer, especially with Unicron.
As soon as I saw unicorn in this trailer I thought in my mind " Unicron the chaos bringer is here ".

I wasn't born yet when the original G1 movie came out. So the fact that Unicron is going to be on the big screen again Is great for me.
I’m literally sitting here with my jaw dropped out of pure shock and excitement. I was already excited, but now I’m ecstatic. The trailer had so many insane scenes and while I’m glad to see it, it makes me a little sad because I feel like they showed a little too much of the epic final battle. Like those scenes of Bumblebee being a one-man army jumping out the plane,and Arcee and Wheeljack having that duo moment; those would have been insane to see in the theater for the first time ever. But instead we already saw it in the trailer 😕
I typically frown upon people who comment stuff like this, but I really want this movie to be hype and successful, so I’m afraid people will have less of a reaction after already seeing all the highlights in the trailer
I actually felt they kept quite a bit out of the trailer, which is nice. We have yet to see more than 3 seconds of any of the maximals or Terrorcons, and they completely avoided showing Unicorn in bot mode. Not to mention that non of the main bot fights (aside from Optimus Primal smashing scorpions) were shown to any capacity. Which means Optimus vs Scourge, Optimus Primal Vs Battletrap, and virtually every other major fight will be a complete surprise in the film.
Transformers movies have a long history of giving up WAY too much in the trailer, but I actually felt this was the most restrained we've had yet. That being said, this is the last trailer I'm watching since the next one probably will give up too much.
My excitement for Transformers rise of the Beasts went sky high when i saw Unicron in this trailer and it's going to make the summer 2023 more awesome than ever before and as a great fan of the Transformers I'll probably go see this movie a second time in the theaters
They kept a ton out of the trailer, don't worry. They haven't shown Megatron even though he's confirmed, they're not showing many of the named Terrorcons/Predacons, etc.

I'm really hoping this film does well, not just in terms of numbers, but also as an overall good movie. The vast majority of transformers movies are admittedly questionable at best (save for bumblebee, still love that little gem), and I'm just frightened of the Maximals being too different or revamped. For real, I better hear Cheetor say "big bot" at least once , damn it >:|
Other than that, the trailer looks good. Unicron is finally being adapted faithfully, so that's definitely something. All the bots look good (little iffy on wheeljack) and I'm very curious about Optimus not being as big of an all around protector. I think I'm gonna like this more military, suspicious version of him.

This isn’t Beast Wars, just like they’re not G1. People really need to enjoy the films for what they are. Not every single piece of fiction needs homages and meme worthiness. We’re supposed to respect the source material, not simp over it
I hope this film does just that: stand on its own as it’s own thing. Yes, it’ll tie into the other films of course, but it needs to function as it’s own story. If Hasbro wants to sell toys, they need to pump out quality fiction. This is a franchise with a very mixed track record. They can’t afford another big mistake like TLK
@@brooklynbud1138 Good point. It would admittedly be pretty dull if they repeated every part of the source material. But I'd still prefer something somewhat recognizable than essentially entirely new characters, if that makes sense.
@@theneondragon004 Depends on how well the concept is. Look at Scourge. We have a space wizard in drag that turns into a bathtub with jets (G1), the template for and best version of Nemesis Prime (RID), the leader of a planet of beast Transformers (Cybertron), and “what would happen if MF Doom and Rammstein did a collaboration album” (ROTB). As long as the story and execution is good, you can get away with a lot. Remember how much people freaked out when Optimus turned into a firetruck instead of a semi? Nowadays it’s a highly sought after vintage figure

The bots look so good and Unicron looks amazing. I'm 41 yrs old, been a fan of TF since G1 first aired and to this day I still get chills every time Optimus' voice tone and attitude goes from wise leader to battle hardened soldier. When his sword extends or when he takes out his gun, you know some ass is about to get beaten.

It's still so disappointing how they couldn't get Gary chalk to voice Optimus primal, putting out theatrical performances along with cullen as prime, a blow if you ask me.

Because people wont listen to anything from the producer, there is also Christina Hodson, the screenwriter for "Bumblebee," who has stated in several interviews that the Bumblebee movie takes place in the same universe as the previous Transformers films but also serves as a reboot/refreshing of the franchise.
Similarly, in an interview with Screen Rant, Hodson said, "It is in continuity with the other Transformers movies, but I feel like this is a whole new beginning for Transformers. ROTB being a direct sequel to Bumblebee makes the continuity clear as one in the same so I wonder how Unicron from TLK fits with Unicron from ROTB.
According to official interviews with directors and screenwriters from 2018 to 2023, The Transformers 2007 film pentrology, Bumblebee and ROTB are all in the same continuity, while some have used the term "reboot", in film and television, reboot does NOT explicitly mean new continuity which is how most fans use the term.
Many shows and films are reboots yet in the same continuity as previous installments such as The Borne Ultimatum, X Men First Class, Fuller House, That 70s Show, Heroes Reborn, Star Trek etc, all are reboots yet in continuity to what came before similarly to how Christina Hodson referred to Bumblebee as a "reboot" however also explicitly stated it as being in the same 07 continuity, a film or show can be a reboot AND in continuity to what came before, what must be understood is that different people use the term reboot in different ways etc however using the term "continuity" is much better and far more clear.
Transformers plays fast and loose with some plot points but its all officially been one continuity so im interested to see how it all works out, time travel would be the simplest explanation or they may not even address it until a much later film if at all considering they have around 12 years before getting into the Bay era timeline of 2007 onward etc.

The latest Transformers installment will take place in the space between Bumblebee and Transformers, allowing for a kind of soft reboot that still maintains the look and continuity of the other films. Agreed 100% Nobody likes TLK. It bombed. Very easy to pretend it didn't happen. Only the absolute cringiest Transformers fans use "Bayverse" and "Knightverse." What they mean is "movieverse."
This is the most hyped I’ve been for a Transformers movie in a long time. I love the new designs, the visuals are awesome, the action looks sick, I love the new designs for the Autobots, and I’m so hyped to see the Beast bots and Unicron in this movie. I can’t wait!
