Dude can’t find a legit answer but I just got a R6 Race the other day, and I want to know if I can modify it with 2020 parts. You mentioned in the video and wanted to confirm since my bike hasnt arrived yet.

I think it's fun to buy this race and improve it for public use, but if you don't have enough budget, you can find the last public use, the 2022 model, and improve the exhaust, even if you're struggling a little. And I think this is fun to improve

Is it possible to install the front lights? I mean it comes with the instalation?

Yes its possible. It has the wire harness but nothing else. You would need the whole front light assembly. Brackets and housing plus lights

Yep, all the wires and connections are there. I bought a set of mirrors to look more street legal to break in some miles and it was plugged and play

I just used a metal shelving bracket I had lying around in my garage and a plate holder from one of my other bikes.

Hello! This is the 2023 that is under $13K. But this version is not street legal. Retail price for a 2019 is about $15K. If you are buying an R6 for street use I'd say anyone you can get your hands on for a good price.

Hey, were you able to get a title for this bike? Thinking about getting one to convert to street legal, but was curious about the process.

I have not converted this bike for street use. I know others that have converted straight up dirt bikes to make it street legal and it seems pretty easy. The process would be to add lights, horn, license plate bracket with light, signals, and at least one mirror to pass inspection. Then it’s off to the dmv and go through hoops which, means 💵

Yep…I’m a believer, now😅. I missed a $1200 track weekend cuz my bike was not ready or, “broken in”. I haven’t been riding much cuz I have been working so many hours. I have over 200 miles on the R6. From now on this bike will be run hard (progressively) in the coming weeks. Do an oil change, install all my upgrades, then………RAGE😐This bike is tooo good, sooo good. It’s deserves better than me!

It does not have headlights. If I were to put some in I would check ebay if I was on a budget or order a brand new set from the dealer if I had extra cash.

Hey Jay C! Currently, I am trying to get it ready for a track day out at COTA Thanksgiving weekend. Got the Vortex 2.0 rear sets, Ohlins steering damper, and CRG RC2 levers installed. It looks awesome with these simple mods! Still have to install the frame, fork, and swing arm sliders. And especially, the full Akra and Rapidbike install. Not sure if I am going to make it because I have been working sooo much! I have really grown to love this R6 during break in cuz IT IS such a great motorcycle to ride! Who knows what the future holds but when I think about the future of this bike, I have to consider street legal for possible resale. Sorry so slow but I am just an average dude who has to work. I really appreciate the follow up.
