    OK,,,, that's it. i am not going to wait any longer to pursue this thought by only thinking it. I am going to buy a beginners erhu before the end of this year. I've found a couple sources where i can buy one. Last time i said: i want to play this instrument. Now i am simply GOING TO!

      don't be afraid to fake it until make it, let your own expression be, even when it sound's awful, there will be moments when you will hear something good and others not so good...

    It has such a wonderful sound, I think I prefer the deep notes available to this instrument compared to the erhu.

    The zhonghu has a lower pitch than the erhu.
    (Wikipedia told me.)

      The pieces composed by Liu Mingyuan 刘明源 (like this one) are similar in style. Its Mongolian themed, as the techniques used in Mongolian instruments (like morin huur) are implemented on the Chinese huqin. 王国潼Wang Guotong also composed great Mongolian themed pieces.

      Actually, it is Chinese, sorry to say! But Japan, Vietnam, and Mongolia all took inspiration from Chinese music!
