I tell you what. That Thomas of yours is a keeper. He's leading by example by showing the baby boy how to work too. Great maker honeychyle. God Bless you and your beautiful family.
I love watching him work. So meticulous and careful. Some guys just slap things on and make a big mess. Good job! Extra husband points for him.
That husband is talented. 😍😍. Love the makeover.
You must feel so blessed to have a husband who wants to and is capable of doing all these things! I envy you lol
Wants is the important part. I fight my CONTRACTOR husband to do these projects lol
True. My hubby just wants to call someone for fixing and making the littlest things. I am handy, but do miss the process of doing things together :
Ok, the clear glaze on the rocks is GENIUS!!!!! I love that look too, and I never would’ve thought of this. The whole thing looks great!!!
It won't last, though. If you want it to last, buy the 'wet look' sealant sold at home improvement stores in the tile area. You can pop that in your sprayer and go to town or brush on with a foam brush. Lasts YEARS.
That new wall that you designed and your husband built is absolutely the coolest thing ever. Karen Florida
You are the nicest Karen ever 💕
Aubree Leeann I wish there wasn’t the new angry Karen videos! It’s ruining my name. 🤪🤓😢 on movies Karen is always the best friend. Thanks so much for the compliment. Karen Florida
Where can I get the instructions for making the seating area tour hubby built?
You all are AMAZING! You need a tv show on HGTV. I’ve learned so much! Love and prayers for your sweet family!
Saludos
You guys should do a full house tour as well. The patio looks great!
Yes we would love to see a house tour 😍😍😍
Looks amazing. Boho chic. The way you use neutral colors with your beautiful results is a gift.
Ok...hubby is so clever!! LOVE your eye for design! A powerhouse couple, you guys are too cute! Sending love from Tdot 🇨🇦
Your husband is a very hard worker...it looks great ..
Oh my gosh funniest thing.. this video popped up for me and I forgot I wasn’t on my “subscribed” feed so I immediately clicked on it to watch it and heard you say you’re expecting. I was so excited for you but didn’t know how I missed it! Well.. then I realized it was posted a year ago 🤣🤦🏼♀️
Prayers for a successful and beautiful birth. Love your new space. Good work Thomas. Smart idea 💡Ashley when hanging those lights🙏🏼👩🏻🎨🎨🦋
Woah this transformation is amazing! I love how you guys build everything together instead of buying really expensive patio pieces!
As always amazing! Great job to you & your hubby. So sweet how your hubby teaching your little guy. Love all the makeovers.
I always say .... you literallyyyyyyy have the best makeovers 🤩😍🥰😌😊👍🏻God bless & Thank you so much for sharing!!😘
I'm amazed at your creativity on a shoestring budget. I have a courtyard and small backyard that need facelifts. We put money in a new entry door because no amount of paint was going to make the existing, worn-out old thing look acceptable. We can't afford new hardscaping, but what's in the courtyard is in great condition - original cement slab and brick added on later to eliminate a teeny tiny grass patch. I love the idea of painting this surface to unify two types of hardscape - thanks to your video for providing this idea! I can hardly wait to binge the rest of your videos for more ideas. You guys are awesome!
Lovely space. I envision small votive candles in the rocks on the left side.
Best Hubby ever ❤ Y'all have always made the best team together
I would love to see a video on how to build an L shaped sectional for the patio!
OMG! You 2 should have your own HGTV series💖
I love all of your makeover ideas & decors. I loved the bathroom the most, the the patio, afterwards your mom's woman cave. It was a stunning fireplace.
I don't have 1, but that was a great idea for me to put 1 in💃🏾🥰
My husbands a physical therapist and that’s great and all but I think I’m going to send him to carpentry school so he can build all my house projects 😂
Hahaha, I was thinking the same thing about my husband 😭😂😂
Honestly it would be more badass if you went to carpenters school
Or do it yourself and don't expect your husband to do everything 🤦♂️🤷🏼♂️
Yes, L bench tutorial would be awesome. Looks great!
I love the wall it turned out great. Congratulations on your new baby.
*[paused* *video* *at* *13:27**]* .. looks like you're expecting a GIRL 💖💖💖💖💖 .. GORGEOUS patio makeover, it's refreshing & well thought off 👍🏻👍🏻 LOVE the wooden partition, that is another piece of ART ! 👍🏻👍🏻
The woodwork and wall was EVERYTHING!❤
Thank you 😊
I must say you made your house a beautiful home amazing beautiful, class .
Love your new space! Your son is so stinking cute but then so is your hubby!! Hope all goes well with the new baby! God bless! The sectiinal
Wow, great job, y’all! That tire ottoman is super smart too. So many good ideas here!
Okay, so I love this genre of videos, and while I enjoy seeing the process I'm honestly rarely impressed with a tip...HOWEVER...the clear spray paint on the rocks?!? Yes!!! Love it. Genius. Will do it. [clapping emojis]
If you find the cushions slide around on your new sofa...add the rubber shelf liner. It works to hold them in place. You guys have done a beautiful job!
OMG I swear I found this channel at the right time! Thanks RUclips algorithm 🤗
Oh I would love to see how he built that bench! Then I could do it myself for my balcony 😍
Love the wall and the glazed rock hack👍👍 It all looks very inviting. I do have to mention tho, Thomas must be a shoe guy, because I noticed he seemed to have on a different pair in all the different clips🤣 Good for you ,Thomas👍👍TFS😊😊
😂😂 I am absolutely a shoe guy
Spraying the rocks is genius and so is that cool wooden fence! Btw, two hanging baskets with flowers would look sweet in the larger openings of the fence. Anyway great job looks super cozy and clean.
Ok this is the best backyard make over I've seen from all others. This makes sense to me.
Beautifully designed.
Sanding the beams made a beautiful difference 😍
Your patio is amazing! I wish you happiness in this beautiful place!
Hi I'm new sub, love your diy makeovers, busy watching all your videos, and your husband is very talented with his hands. Well done. Love from South Africa.
Great job on the makeover. Really cool concepts. Loved the wood art fence piece and the L shaped seating. So creative 😊
What a neat outdoor space. The different textures - rock, wood, bark give it a lot of character and all the pretties are the icing!
Great job. I think it turned out so nice. I have a little suggestion. In the areas next to the bench, where you put down mulch maybe put down some of those square paver stones, just so you don't have to step right in the mulch when navigating around the seating area. I think that wood wa is fantastic. Great space for lots new memories. Ashley i hope you are well. Cant wait to meet that little guy💙💙💙💙💙
It looks very nice and your husband is very handy. Great job!
Yessss! Would love to see a video on how to make the outdoor sofa! 🙌🏼
Do you know if there was ever a video on this?
I couldn't find one yet
What a neat outdoor space. I'm envious since we have so much wind in Kansas. This enclosure would be welcome here.
Gorgeous!!! Love all your DIY projects!! Thomas wins as husband of the year for sure
really like the natural wood on the support beams and posts. So modern and fresh!

I love all your diy home makeovers. I cannot wait to see a full house tour after all your makeovers are done. You both make an incredible team!
FYI cause you like spray paint. If lawn gets any brown spots spray them grass green color. Comes out great and doesn't die. Will grow back
The makeover looks super nice. That accent wall turned out super cute. Plus I love the look on the rocks. I love rocks when they look wet, may have to take that idea and use it here. Great job guys it looks amazing.
Love the patio. Such a great couple. I love how you two work together to get these projects done.
I use the clear lacquer spray too on everything from pumpkins to jewelry. Now I’m going out to spray my rocks too! Thanks! I N C R E D I B L E Makeover. 🤩🤩😍😍
The clear coat on the rocks is genius! What a difference.
Everything is just great, looks so inviting. I can picture myself sitting in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine. The designer partition wall looks amazing. Praying for you and your family on your new babies arrival. 🙏🏻♥️
Love the wood wall. Great to see the little ones helping and learning.
I see your baby bump.... so precious 💖
I LOVE THIS!! I love that you show us you dont have to spend so much money to make something look amazing!
All your hard work turned out great. Makes me wish I had an outside space under something to fix up like this! Thanks for sharing.
Turned out lovely... you've just increased the value of your home by just doing that $500.00 upgrade. Gorgeous!
All of your projects are so beautiful

Wow, it looks the amazing. The love the mix of painted and natural wood showing. Love the idea you done with the rocks. I'm in the middle of doing my back garden and summer house up, and was a bit stuck for ideas on what to do. But watching your renovation videos of your top deck and now this one has given me plenty of ideas. Thank you for sharing. 👍😊
Absolutely Amazing As With Everything You Do!! The Wet Rocks, the glaze on the cement, the wall!! OMG Just Amazing!! Love the contrast of the dark mulch too!

Ur house is the deffinision of aesthetic !!🥰😍
It turned out so nice! What a beautiful space! That fireplace is awesome! The wall definitely adds a little something extra to the space.
I love the wet rock look. It was cool the way y’all did the wood wall Great job. ❤️
I really love the new makeover.. It turned out beautiful..
I love what you guys did, but will like the video on how your husband did the sectional, is the perfect size for my yard
That came out so beautiful. Great job. Thanks for sharing with us.
JUST GREAT! LOVE the ottoman and the clear spray paint on the rocks fabulous. The whole area so pull together.
Watching your little guy reminded me of my sons helping their dad when they were little. They are both now over twenty and are helping my husband build us a new deck. All the teaching-and patience-really pays off😊
The geometric wall is so beautiful!
