Hi, i just released the parking brake. Done! Thanks
when i apply 12 volts to the terminals, the motor spins, but the piston does not move. when i reverse polarity, it spins, but does not retract, and does not advance. any idea?
what i did, i removed the entire assembly of the electric motor and gears and then the piston was retracted with a c-clamp. it moved smoothly and slowly. but now i have an error code, that parking brake does not work.

I messed mine up pretty bad - took the brake pads out before unplugging

My engine light went on after changing rear brakes what do you think went wrong
Make sure the connection is ok, and reset the light
@@BulletSolano we reset it and engine saying fuel filter crazy, ok will check connection but the mechanic was having a hard time changing the back brake, we didn’t know they were electric after the fact
Probably he damage the electric brake

Any 12 to 18 bolt power tool battery or any car battery will do
How much voltage does the battery have to be.
12 volts but 18 or 20 volt doesn’t do bad to the motor, is just for a few seconds
