I'd love to see a mid season garden update, a farmhouse tour, property/animal update/tour, Day in the life videos. I think you would be such a great guest on "simple farmhouse life" podcast too!
So you cooked for a total of 2hrs 40min? Do you let it run through as in pressure comes down naturally or venting and then start again? Is just running it for double the time not the same?
Ahhhh ! I love this ! I have been googling videos and couldn’t find any I liked. But I have always followed you ! I also started reading the book Eat Dirt about gut health. My goal is to make slow changes .. bone broth is where I wanted to start .. do you have any other book recommendations ?
I just reset it, I don't release the pressure! It will manually start releasing the pressure so sometimes if I don't get to it right away it will. Doesn't really matter wither way!
Just was wondering if the broth would turn out if it was cooked on high pressure for 2 hrs and 40 min instead of doing 2 cycles of 1 hr and 20 minutes?
If you fill them pretty full, try filling them less. Also try putting it in the freezer after it’s cooled to refrigerator temp. Might also help to just place the lids on top, then tighten them once it’s frozen
Yes cool in the fridge overnight first and make sure to leave a big gap at least 2” from rim for expansion. Transfer to the freezer and I always thaw mine in the fridge, too.😊
Becca, You are so great at explaining the physiology of everything. Thank you!

Aw yay thanks for following along!! Some of my fav nutrition related books are Nourishing Traditions / Nourishing Fats and also Deep Nutrition :)
I told you!!. Obsessed, right?! Best thing ever using those silicone cube trays. The ones you have are nice with a lid. Super awesome find. :)
Yes yes yes!!! BEST FIND
What are your thoughts on making this in the crockpot? I also don't like to leave my stove on for a whole day so I cook mine in the crockpot.
How much and how often should you drink it?
Do you have to use all the same kind of bones...beef vs chicken? Or can u mix?
How do you cook the chicken in the instant pot?
Do you release the pressure and then put the lid back on to run it the second time? How long to cook it if using a crockpot?
I just reset it, I don't release the pressure! It will manually start releasing the pressure so sometimes if I don't get to it right away it will. Doesn't really matter wither way!
I made some today!!!
Why do you need to roast raw bones? I never do that. Thank you awesome video
I know it helps deepen the flavor, but otherwise I'm not sure! I don't usually use raw bones I just know people usually instruct to roast first :)

We don’t have an instapot…what would be your recommendation on cook time for a slow cooker?
I make mine in my slow cooker. Simmer for 24 hours.
Yes 24 hours would be great!
Just was wondering if the broth would turn out if it was cooked on high pressure for 2 hrs and 40 min instead of doing 2 cycles of 1 hr and 20 minutes?
I feel like that would be fine? If the pressure cooker goes that long?
I have the same question. Thanks!
Everytime I freeze my broth in large mason jars it breaks my jars????? Help

Is there any store bought bone broth that you recommend?
Kettle Fire is my fav brand :) Excellent quality
On LOW pressure!
And seriously look into microwaves, and then toss that thing out on trash day.
