I’d say Luke and Leia are the #1 characters. I’d personally like to see Luke as the lead.
With that said it seems like they are going to use Hera and esra to take on Thrawn. Maybe they have a small part for Luke and a Leia reference like in the first season.

And the nightsisters do some sort of magic and make a zombie or more intelligent zombie, or maybe sacrifice one of the 3 nightsisters and bring ventress back fully.
Ventress could then work as thrawn's assassin, and be the sort of second villain for the Mando and grogu movie and thrawn appears later in the filoni movie.

I want to see Luke at the height of his power working with Ezra and crew to defeat Thrawn. Would be epic if they could bring Cal Kestis in the show. Why they haven't I don't know. Yes, he's in his game series, but are we lead to believe he could be dead by the point or gone in some shape or form? Where this story is going has so much potential and with all the shows leading to this path in an almost MCU Avengers style, this could be big and legendary if executed properly. All I hope for is that they keep Jon and Dave in the driver's seat and we get to see some more of Luke

But I think that doing shows on Disney plus should always have the same director if you're gonna do one show, have 1 person to wreck it. 1 person write it, that's it. Only reason I can come up with why Thrawn wouldn't have killed Ezra, is as a contingency. Ezra brought Thrawn there, Thrawn had his primary plan, which he executed, but Thrawn always has a backup plan. Much like the time gap in the Mandalorian and other things, if the above was the case, it would have been nice to get at least a throw-away line to establish it. Otherwise it just looks like bad writing or a plot hole.

Hopefully, it will lead to the two developing a romantic relationship. Despite Ezra's message in episdoe stating to Sabine that she was "the sister he never had"(even though they are not blood related), there a lot of teases and hints that point to a romantic future between the two (both in Rebels and Ahsoka), meaning it's not totally off the table. It makes more sense from a story perspective more than Shin getting together with Sabine rather than Ezra. In fact, the Loth Cats shown in the mural seem to provide clues of Ezra and Sabine's relationship going forward. Since the Loth Wolfs in the Mural seem to foreshadow Baylon (the Black Wolf) and Shin (the White Wolf), then the White Loth Cat standing on Ezra's shoulder could be Jacen Syndulla (Kanan and Hera's son, especially considering the blue eyes). Which bring us to the three Brown Loth Cats standing next to him and Sabine, implying they will have children of their own in the future.

I was personally fine with the zombified Stormtroopers; it makes sense given what Thrawn’s goals are and what the Nightsisters are capable of, though I will agree that one choreographed sequence was god-awful.
One thing cool they could do, since they’re most likely going down the Abeloth route, is to have Ezra be possessed by Abeloth, conveniently being the only one of the theee main heroes to make it back. Abeloth is known to possess people and have them sabotage behind enemy lines. It would also line up with Thrawn never deciding to pursue him on Peridea, despite keeping tabs on his location, perhaps be the saw him as too great a threat. Ezra’s surprisingly close-lipped about what exactly went down after he and Thrawn arrived there, and despite having the time to tell Sabine, he never discloses anything

The whole Thrawn and Ezra relationship was a really big let down honestly, especiclaly since I expected Thrawn to try and extended an olive branch to Ezra to make him see things the chiss's way he already did that once with nightswan and it could serve to show Ezra that their are things far more deadly and evil then the emire (Grisk/Yuuzhan vong). After reading the first Thrawn novel I was really hoping we could see Eli Vanto make a return and see how he would interact with Thrawn and Captain Pelliot.
I'd honestly prefer if Maul was left to rest in piece, maybe a clone that has his memories (kinda like Starkiller). I wouldn't be opposed to Ventress back though, Quinlin-Vos is apparently still alive so that could be an interesting story point

First Maul had (like Palpatine) his perfect death on Tantoni. It would be a bad choice to bring him back again for this story.
Second Luke is way to early to bring in for season 2 if we are to belive the build up story thing building towards the Thrawn thrilogy and ultimate movie thingy. Maybe as a hero rescuer in that movie.
Thirdly bringing in Cal and Merrin (whom is a great idea) before theyre third and final game basicly kills any interests in that game so its a definately no until that game come outs.
Whenever people are prophosing crazy (and time consuming) theories I like to think about the old and thrusted KIPS (Keep it simple) concept. We can undertand they are trying to build towards the Mortis story conclusion on Perellia while focusing on Ezra and Heras battle with Thrawn untill all the forces could be joined at some point or other. Id love to know more about the nightsisters and what the great mothers are at on Dathomir thou. That would be so cool to see a Jedi like Ezra or a darkside user go learn more about theyre magic and how its works and learned. Maybe we could have Merrin or her hologram learn Sabine more on how it works even? Another cool character would be Offee or whatever the padawan who framed Ahsoka is.
I think another thing we can conclude they dont do more than absolutely neccesery is explaining things like what Ahsoka did when she was absence and stuff like that. They had theyre chances but rarely do that if they dont have to. J.

Theory - Luke is the only Jedi left in the galaxy? I don't understand your constant dismissal of Ezra (his role and abilities), who may or may not be as strong as Luke at this point in the time line, but he definitely was stronger (in both the Light & Dark side of the Force) at the time he left the galaxy when, oh by the way, he defeated Thrawn. A better theory would be you recognizing that Luke has been playing catch up to Ezra in terms of mastering the Force at this point in time line. Here's a not far fetched theory, Filoni has already retconned Ezra as being the 'other' (not Leia) to save the universe (in Rebels) and his plan is to vet that out in live-action, simply b/c he wouldn't have to deal with deep-faking or recasting Skywalker. Luke won't be anymore involved in the plot than Cal will (though it would be cool). It'll be about developing Filoni's own Jedi characters, Ezra, along with Ahsoka & company.

Would do yall think about a series following Lando, in a hypothetical world where yeah Luke in Mando S2 is cool but in the bigger a waste and instead it was Cal connecting it to the live action verse.
    Back to Lando.
It starts with Hera going to Cloud City and meeting Lando and telling him she needs to speak with Leia and she’s not responding to messages, Lando reveals she is in her honeymoon with Han and doesn’t want to be bothered.
Hera says it’s urgent and to get back with her once he gets in contact with her.
Lando goes to Maz Kanatas castle and finds Chewie
There we also run into the antagonist of the series Talon Kaarde.
He has a bone to pick with one of the characters and interferes with their mission.
We see alot of the bounty hunter world. Maybe even Qi’ra?
Anyways it would end with them finding Leia and Han, and we meet a young Ben,
Leia is like uh idk where Luke is until 3PO reveal he has a tracker on r2.
The series ends with a scene just like the ending of force awakens where they arrive and find Luke meditating on a hilltop with Grogu. And Mando is chilling in a rock.
Post credit scene would be a defeated Talon talking to someone and mentioning how he’s gonna meet with some Imperial leader about business since Talon is basically the big dog in the under world. He mentions he could’ve used the persons help and it’s revealed to be Mara Jade.
    Ahsoka S2
Would follow Ahsoka and Sabine training to get deeper with the force, Baylans journey, and Shin trying to find and kill Baylan, and Thrawn conquest to gather forces to destroy the New Republic.
In the end we see Ahsokas group with Shin escape. And Thrawn with his new forces. And all leads to the movie where Thrawn makes his move and everyone gathers to defeat him and in the end we get a big battle of Mandalorians vs Nightsisters and many people die.

Someone I would LOVE to see more of perhaps as the villain in season two is Barriss Offee. We have no idea what happened to her after she got thrown into jail. Did she get executed? Did Order 66 work on her? Did she escape? I feel that there’s still so much more we can explore between her and Ahsoka. Hell I think the actress that played her is around the same age Barriss would be around this time so it’s perfect.

I just don't think Star Wars can ever live up to our expectations, because we've been invested in this world for decades. We have our own expectations of characters/stories and they're HUGE. Also, Avengers Endgame has somewhat ruined films for me since - it's like I'm hoping for that threat level/character crossovers/momentous moment in every film now, and it never happens. We can't have a fan favourite character do exactly what we want them to do in every series/episode of new material.

If they go the Luke route, I think they should definitely give the fans what they’ve been wanting and offer Sebastian Stan the role. And, if they really wanted to rekindle passion for the franchise, they could double down and bring in Witwer to canonize starkiller. Thrawn could manipulate Starkiller into fighting for him, highlighting his intellect that we didn’t get to see much of in season 1, and by the end of season 2 they could show him so conflicted that it’s tearing him apart; by the end of season 3, Ahsoka could help him redeem himself. There would be a lot to unpack for starkiller, but if they got it right then I think it would restore hope for a lot of long time fans.

    • @JoshyyBear_
      @JoshyyBear_ 10 месяцев назад

Or! Luke could be researching old imperial archives on the past life of his father to get more insight on how he lost his way so Luke can learn how not to. Then he discovers an old apprentice of Vader’s, being starkiller, and requests his help to stop the coming threat. Hesitant and reluctant, Starkiller declines, but Luke, being the altruistic man that he is, offers the opportunity to free himself once and for all from his past and give him a chance to dismantle the remnant who wronged him and he decides to team up. If he were to be an ally of Luke’s then I think there’d be a lot more opportunity to explore his past trauma show and flash backs, and explore how he hasn’t fully healed from the scars Vader gave him. Fun theory, but probly better ones out there.

  • @spiritzen

The reason Grogu was sent back, was because Disney realised they had broken up the relationship that most fans loved between him and Mando. Luke was used as a gimmick to appease the fans but they sacrificed the main focus; the baby and the Mandalorian. They had to quickly revert back to the original formula to regain what made S1 so good. Backtracking.

As a fellow Canadian, a big fan of your channel, and a huge Star Wars fan, I just have to leave a comment or two. First off I’m pretty sure we are all sick of hearing about Nick Gillard. The second one, George Lucas sold the IP to Disney. He gave up the rights, he let go, and someone else bought it. Now, I’m not saying Disney has done a good job, they have absolutely ruined Star Wars for me. But, they own it, and can do whatever the fuck they like, they do not have to keep it in line with George story, they can ruin it all they like, that’s the nature of buying something, and having the ability to do what you want. They have ruined it yes, but we shit on them so much when they own it. It would be like me buying a car from someone, maybe something older like a classic doing some modifications to make it a little bit more mainstream, and then getting shit on because I’ve ruined someone else’s car. It’s mine. Anyways, I’m still a huge fan and will watch all of your videos, it’s just I feel that these points are getting a little bit overdone.
