Damien was absolutely one of the best Arrowverse villains. He was intimidating, intelligent, and written to have motivations that made sense. He helped Barry here to fix the timeline and make it so his daughter never died even though it’d cost him his life.

Someone came back from the future because armageddon across the whole globe was the current future likely because the flash failed to reach the speed necessary in time and destroyed the world. With Damien’s help he was able to reset the timeline and prevent Armageddon. He did a lot of bad things in Arrow from what I remember but ultimately he was one of the less evil Arrow/flash villains.

This changed events so much that Damien never got the chance to sacrifice himself for his daughter and his daughter died

@autumnboland3959 that's approximately 15000 mph. Which is considerably slower than the pace he's shown crossing France in about 2 seconds. France is 590miles wide. So the speed he's visually shown moving at is circa 1,000,000 mph.

At the start he was at 5% but when he started thinking about iris it gave him more connection to the speedforce because of her spark and Iris also remembered that spark in that moment so that is why he was able to run fast enough

Like when something or someone touched you and your body reaction by itself from survival instinct to avoiding injuries many times. But it’s multiply by speedforce that’s ALWAYS CONNECTED with their whole body. Something that touch you will be way slower because your instinct just activates speed force a slap would be just a gentle pushing touch to you. Like how trained Pro athletes would have way faster reaction than normal people.

Mach 20 is like 7000m/s or 0.0025% the speed of light. If travelling that fast would open a time portal then most space probes would be time travelling(they technically are) the voyager is travelling 2.5x faster than that right now.

Mach 20 is really slow for flash you can tell this is early in the series. By the end he regularly hits the speed of light (Mach 874,030) and somehow faster.

I've not watched the show but the idea of a flash saying it's too hard to reach Mach 20 in 2 minutes is ridiculous, and it's also very strange that he needs a device to move through time. I'm used to the comic flash where he can almost instantly travel faster than the speed of light and where reverse flash has mastered time travel without the need for a device
