It’s been fun! It’s going to need a top end now, I had a little too much fun on it 😂 even with top end I should have less than $1000 in it and got some outlaws for it.
These 700 aren’t too bad to put back together, deal with the brakes before you put plastic on and it will be a little easier. I just did a top end on one about 3 weeks ago and aside from the confined space to install it was easy.
The 500ho makes 36hp if i recall. I was told at the dealer the efi made about 38 but i dont know how true that was. The regular 500 makes 32hp (pre 2001)
I couldn't figure out how to respond to you from the live after but i got the link amzn.to/3Se4L98 This doesn't feel super high-quality but will get the job done and was only $15
And the parts for these older Polaris are getting pretty cheap to get ahold of. Even after i put another top end on this thing i should still be under $1000. It started smoking after about the 3rd ride.
Can't beat that good time and a nice machine for around 500 bucks. I'm looking for a 4x4 atv soon too

When i looked it up almost all the Efi models made about 3-6 HP more than the carb models. Efi is a little more fun to troubleshoot though.
nice! need a pin drop of where this is lol. I live by a lake but corps land owns it.
Reach on to me on Facebook and I’ll send it over
