It's very sad seeing Darkshine got depressed, but i love ONE for how he writes Darkshine that way, not a one dimensional buff dude just for a mere someone else stepping stone.

Anyone else notice that the acid scars don't appear until Darkshine takes his shirt off? I think it's supposed to be his trauma. The scars aren't there anymore but he still sees them, bringing back all that he felt after he was burnt by VFU. Either that or was a editing mistake.

We didn't have any fights for Evil Ocean or Water where he was countered by the element of his enemy.
Also, look at Ocean, he literally get punched by Saitama and we're still not sure of his death since he is water.

If you look at Darkshine when he was lifting the weights, he doesn’t have any markings at all on his hands. So the next page where we see the markings on his hands and chest I think is just a vision. His PTSD making him see the wounds that have already healed.
Pretty sure he’s just remembering his scars, he built a impenetrable body but not a strong mind. I would like to see garou meet Darkshine again tho

I hope Phoenix-Man really did turn over a new leaf. I loved seeing him being adored by children and it makes me think that he will regain his strength again if they're ever in deep trouble. He can be like Watchdog Man.

I feel like after the monster association arc, there are many dragon level monster appearing and they got taken out so easily. Dragon level threat kinda not less impressive now.
I loved this chapter, as far as setup chapters go, this was one of the coolest ones imo
I don't think that was scaring on darkshine, more like a mental block/image of fear in his mind because we later see none of those scars on his hands again

The manga harvest has truly been plentiful this season. Vinland Saga, Berserk, One Piece and now OPM? What a week.
I'm definitely interested in seeing more Flashy-Flashy and Saitana interactions. I just can't get over how prideful that guy is in the comparison to all of the other S-Class hero, who are already super prideful.
Damn... Chapter 185 already? Murata sure has pumped out so many chapter. Since OPM is now 100 chapters clear from Chapter 85, hopefully we can get a total of 20+ episodes of season 3.

To be fair, Genos was the perfect counter of that Dragon
I really hope that they focus more on Metal bat, Gauro and Darkshine. These are characters in the web comic, they pretty much ceased to exist after the monster association arc. And to make matters worse Gauro and Darkshine are pretty much just a bunch of big losers. They lost and now just gave up on life. which kinda sickens me as Gauro had a lot of story development that just seemed to have gone to waste. And darkshine, one of the actually nice heroes in the association. Is just left a nervous wreck.
Really i would love to see all 3 of them become a team. Which in all honesty isn't that odd of an idea. Gauro and metal bat has teamed up before. And Gauro also most likely feels bad for darkshine. He didn't want to bully him accidental like he did. As this wasn't the way he wanted to win.

I find it interesting that they show Phoenix Man right after TTM. Does ONE want to imply that the tank top is a kind of costume/suit just like Phoenix Man's and Watchdog Man's? Can TTM access Phoenix Man's special dimension? Hopefully he gets a power up in the future.

I curious about Monaco since her last appearance in manga. I mean, we cannot find further information about her in webcomic too. She is one my favorite monsters.

In my opinion, some of the monsters from the association are turning good and remember since OPM took inspiration from DC/Marvel they could end up becoming heroes like Hulk, Venom, and Man-Thing. Ex: It would be cool if Manako ending transforming into a monster heroine that could shoot heat beams from her eye like Cyclops in X-Men.

Murata is a big marvel fan it’s in a lot of his art too but I highly doubt he took inspiration from it in my opinion it’s more of a critique of the superhero genre in some ways
In the OPM universe, some, probably most, mosters are physically evil, i.e their own bodies are what drives them to be evil. Its different for every monster though just how evil they are, and I dont think its been said for sure that the "natural born" monsters _have_ to be evil, or just the ones that turned into monsters by eating the monster cell.
