In this video we go over how to make a very simple and modern clock on the cnc machine without having to flip over the material in the process. We only use one bit and it takes less than 6 minutes to cut out!

One of the first projects I did once I had my 1F up and running was a "shop clock" (weird how time speeds by when I'm in the shop).... completely overcomplicated it by making it an Iron Maiden themed clock and painted.... but it does say "Keep Your Digits" so it really is a safety reminder.... and uh, it keeps me out of trouble when my wife tells me "Dinner in 30 minutes". I'm sure that I am completely alone in losing track of time whilst making sawdust.... 🤣 Hamilton, I very much enjoy your channel, style, etc.

This is definitely a beginner friendly clock. My first clock was a flipper over... on a piece of live edge. Boy, did I sweat when measuring, estimating and re-affixing it to the CNC bed... but it all worked out just fine! 🥵 So progressing from this to something else and THEN upping the difficulty again ought to be good for all.
I love being a member - keep up the great work!

Mid century modern is having a moment and this fits right in there.
I think I would add spacers to the back to level it for hanging.
    Great little project!

I love this! I'm looking into getting a CNC. I would probably go with both ways, no flip and flio; depending on the look I'm going for. I love making clocks. The CNC would help me speed up things.
I would love to get the file you used.
    Thanks for sharing 👍 ❤

For the part that sticks out, you could take a 6-7inch piece of 1/4 inch plywood and make a spacer. Cut a through hole for the mechanism, then do some type of keyhole to put it on the wall. Then you just glue it onto the back. This way, it would keep everything flush, while not adding that much to the cost.
