Loved the intro in the wagon!!! I do miss San Diego and hopefully I will be their for Christmas with my family. I call it my second summer cause it is usually 60-70F degrees! Fun fact that red trolley you saw pass you goes all the way to the border and all the way north to La Jolla!
Even though I am so glad I no longer live there (I’m a San Diego native) I enjoy watching people explore San Diego, especially Old Town. Mexican food on Mexican food on Mexican food, there’s restaurants on every corner and it’s glorious.
Another great vlog and the knowledge you have Jason about wherever you go is immense, thank you. The buzzing in the tree could it have been Cicada's???? I do think one of you gents could have given Sharon a hand off the Carousel, she isn't overly tall and her horse was high up. The food looked great and the drinks sounded lovely. The gifts in those shops were pricey, however if you go anywhere like that you have to have a little memento. Thanks lads.
The beetle is a Fig Beetle.. I lovingly call them drunk beetles. They fly aimlessly and always seem like they hover around. The eat ripe fruit and are really loud buzzing but totally harmless. They scare the heck out of people though since they are huge. I saw them a lot on southern cal and see them sometimes in northern cal as well.
Fantastic vlog as always, quick question was this the road trip you were meant to be doing then Covid arrived and have you done the same route or were there some changes? Loving these vlogs xx
I think it’s just the relaxed vibe. Everything a large city has to offer with that chilled ‘California by the sea’ way of life - it’s a unique combination and totally different to LA & SF
@@JJExtra Thanks I appreciate your video a lot. I was supposed to visit a mate there last January. But the rona put an end to my travel plans. PS: I also like how you add your coffee stops into the videos. I love coffee.

It was cool to see the original spots.
That boat was absolutely huge!!

Fabulous vlog guys ❤❤xx
Thank you!
That intro had me dying, hahahah!

That tall plant is an agave, sometimes called a Century Plant. That tall shoot is the flower. Once the plant flowers, it dies.
Oh agave that makes sense. Think we were so distracted by the flower we didn’t pay much attention to the leaves 😂

Hi Jennifer, thank you for that info. Good to know they are harmless, next time we will remain calm and admire their beauty 😊

It’s pretty similar but we’ve added a lot to this trip .. this one is definitely MORE expensive 😂
What makes San Diego your fav City?
